Wow that question has me wrecking my brain. Which last Marvel piece prior to Storm was a 1 day sellout. Hmmmm....

I think both the EX Rogue and Skaar PFs came close. If I remember correctly, both of those went up for PO with an ES of 750 & 500 immediately established. That caused a pretty quick sellout. Everything else Marvel related has had a open or TBD ES since then as far as I can remember. This last statement doesn't include any variants obviously.

I'm pretty sure it's the Grey Hulk Comiquette variant. They established the ES at 500 and it sold in less then 24 hours.

That wasn't the last Marvel piece that sold out in 24 hours or less. If we're going variants that goes to the Storm variant PF.

I remember the site dang near crashing when the Patient Zero PF EX came out. I was lucky to get in out before all the traffic. Ahhh..the good old days of refreshing on Thursday nights

If anything sells out it will be the Ex version, first day maybe but as for the regular version I highly doubt it will sell out that quick, you gotta remember its probably gonna be a $600ish+ piece, wont be cheap.

The only way this sells out on day 1 is if the PO goes up with an established ES and it is a low number. I'm talking 250 or less total pieces. Even then, as you said, the price tag may also play a major part in how quickly this sells. My guess is that this will go up with a TBD ES and available for at least a month before we see SSC announce an ES. That all being said, this will be an immediate PO for me the minute I know it's available. I'm a huge Apocalypse fan and I love this statue. When I KNOW I want a statue, there is no hesitation on my part in ordering it.

Like I said the only think that I believe/feel will sell out extremely quickly is the EX version of it. Even if they make 2-3k of em there will only probably be 750 EX or less, most likely. On PF that's how they usually do it but who know how they will do this one.

When I was at comic con I talked to one of guys who designs the SS toys and he told me the saw was the EX.
