omg upon reading this i wanna kill myself...that sucks soooooooooo much my god... this year wait **** sucks man theres gotta be a better way to shrink that wait time...Ive got a few pre orders and some planned and this by far is the one I want the most...whew this is some depressing *** news...

Yea ik but jeesh the wait is awful...plus i also hate the idea of having to be by my pc every thursday in case it randomly goes up for PO...I wouldnt care so much about the wait if SS would release dates of when the items would tentatively be released so I can at least plan on looking and not having to look -- hopefully that makes sense

The NRD would've never happened if people wouldn't have kept ordering and cancelling over and over. Brought it on yourselves

I personally dont mind the NRD...I get that these cost money to make and they need an accurate number to base their production on...but in regards to their notices yea I get the emails and im signed up but even then they only tell you the day of...actually Ik with the emails (using this past thurs as an example) .. Il get the email that the new product is in/up for PO like 5 hours after it actually went live on the site...same with the alerts...and even if it was timely, getting a notice the DAY OF isnt exactly a notice, especially if you are trying to hold down a job or just have other things to do. you might not be able to check your email and do all that jazz instantly...if instead I could say ok I know that in 2 weeks this statue is coming out that I want, I can plan, both financially and physically, to be prepared for the purchase. Its not like SS doesnt know within 2 weeks, or even Monday the week of, what new items they are putting on their site. There would be alot more pros than cons to just giving us a little notice, thats all. What other company/product that costs as much as a statue does ($400+) just gets seemingly randomly released with no notice or warning? There isn't many and thats bcz you have to give your customers a little notice...We cant all be sitting by the PC refreshing randomly for 3-4 hours of a window when we think a preorder we might want might go up. I think in return for a NRD and my purchase you can let me know ahead of time; it doesnt seem like a lot to ask...again not by months or anything crazy as I get things change..just a few days notice or a tentative schedule would be nice.

Items don't sell out quickly anymore unless they throw in the very rare 100 or 150 Es.
First day sell outs for a standard production piece are a thing of the past. They now put TBD for a few weeks before they decide.
Suppose if there's a lot of initial orders they just make the ES bigger.

I mean if they can guarantee that I can still get the item, say 2 days after its up for PO, sure I have no problem and I can live with that...and I get what your saying its a thing of the past but you know and ik that if its something a person is dying for (like I am w this statue) it goes back to the simple, "I just dont wanna take a chance and possibly losing it, so il be on on thursday"...unless they can guarantee it and say yes no matter what if you get an order in within 48-72 hours of the item going up, or maybe a week after, etc. than sure I can live without my above suggestions. But if not and your picky/obsessed w a statue, its tough uk?

IL is right. No way this sells out in one day. SSC hardly ever has that happen anymore. It has to be a very rare/variant piece for a same day sellout. Apocalypse will not fall into that category. Also, don't forget that products are usually previewed the Tuesday before the PO date (Thursday) so you should have plenty of time to be prepared. Just keep an eye on the news letter. They'll let you know when the preview is ready to go.

Since we're in the Marvel section I'd assume that you're talking about the last Marvel statue to sellout in one day.

Storm PF variant with an ES of 150 if we're speaking technically.

I think the last one day sellout for a normal 500 ES or greater Marvel statue. It was Skaar son of Hulk PF that holds that distinction.

The Predator 2 'savage' LSB sold out in less than an hour, 100 ES, and the paint was awful.
