Hope Chris has his servers shipshape and ready to bear this burden, as long as it is theirs to bear!

As many complaints that I saw about this looking like the actor who played in the movie instead of (insert name here) I find it really funny that the Shards would be the accessory that everyone wants or has been as requested as I've seen. He never had this in the movie at this point ;) so why is this so popular?

I don't understand it either. There are other occasions to bring in the shards of Narsil (Isildur / prologue of the Fellowship). The hilt of the Morgul Blade would have been a much better exclusive IMO.

I expect the streamline pre-ordering to go super smooth with this one, considering the fact that so many people have critizised the figure from the get-go and said they were passing... :naughty

Well here's my reason...

Aragorn and Boromir first encounter one another at the shrine. Aragorn does not reveal his identity to Boromir at this meeting. Boromir leaves somewhat unnerved and drops the hilt of Narsil on the floor. Aragorn then picks it up and returns the sword to its place in the hands of the statue of the elven princess.

It's also a bit of a turning point when Arwen confronts Aragorn about his "fear" of his birth right. For me personally, I equate Aragorn's fear / fear of failure with the imagery of the shattered Narsil.

This was one of my favorite scenes and while he may not have been dressed in all of his Ranger garb and gear, he was not yet a King.

That's cool WW. I totally understand your point and find it to be very valid. However, I've seen a lot of talk about this figure not looking like Viggo who played Aragorn and that these are based on the movie. The figure is based on on a moment which wouldn't fit that excluisve. In the end it would be more book based which for those that want a movie based figure which this line is wouldn't match up. Though I wouldn't have cared really if that was the exclusive.
