Thank you! I opened him up to inspect him and he's perfect! Hair is right and everything seems to be fine. I only took him out to look but I didn't put him together. This is my first PF and I was surprised at the weight! I just love him. He has that new Viggo smell!

And he's #120 for someone who's counting. Sowee...no #42.

I had to send mine back - the strand of hair was broken and it wasn't in the box; my replacement should be shipping out on Monday. I have to say that everyone that I've talked with at SS has been super-great (especially Jaclyn in the returns department). Does anyone know whether or not replacement pieces are checked before they ship? I didn't think to ask.

They told me with regard to a 12" figure that they check them, so I would assume they would with a PF.

Mine was intact. And the offending lock is pretty close to the head. Is it just me, or does it seem that particular lock made of a different type of plastic than the rest of the hair? The rest of the hair is hard poly-stoney whereas the lock across the forehead is bendy. That might also be the reason that it's broken off on some of yours?

The yellow ring in the eyes are NOT noticeable upon normal view (or even very close up). In fact, I'm thinking they're there to emphasize the light blue eye color without it washing out (were it just blue) or being ringed by black or brown (ugh!). As is, the blue of the eyes just pop naturally. You painters out there....am I perceiving this right?

Blue and orange are complimentary colors. The warm orange around the eyes foils the icy blue of Aragorn's irises making them that more stark. It's an age old technique employed by many an artist: using one compliment of similar tint or shade to the other compliment to accentuate the other color.
