Aragorn's sword is slightly bent on mine but not really noticeable but ive heard u can bend it without breaking it?
Anyone put on his hood yet don't think i'll bother.Noticed from most pics that the Fellowship Leaf and Evenstar seem to be sitting nice whereas both mine are a bit sideways and twisted so will have to adjust the clip hopefully without doing any damage.

I don't know if there is a different process for Canada, but in the US when I return any numbered piece for replacement, I first have to send them a photo of the number on the base. Then the replacement that they send to me is given the same number. I can't believe it would be any different for you, but at least you can contact them to find out.

I have had that happen only once, when I requested it with Lurtz. I don't recall getting a replacement piece with the same number any other time.

I dont think I'll be sending it back for something as slight as the hair, if it was actually broken sure, Id send it back. But this isnt a big deal and I dont feel like getting stuffed for taxes and shipping again at the border.
Heaven forbid you actually acquire something here in Canada without the Gov't getting their snotty fingers in the pot somehow....

Wow, that sucks that they would tax you again on a replacement for something you already purchased. I think you are doing the right thing then. It is a minor annoyance, but not nearly as bad as a broken piece (like mine was
).

I can only speak for the EU customs but once you have imported an item and paid fees in the first place they won't let you pay again as long as you have some sort of proof. The way it works over here is, you have to go to your local customs office and announce officially you are returning an item you expect to get back later (because you'll get a replacement, have a paint job done, whatever). You'll have to have the item itself with you, of course. They'll give you a "certificate" for that stating that you are already the owner of the item and thus have paid for any (import) fees. Later, when you get the item back and have to pick it up at the customs place, you'll bring that paper and they won't charge you again. Well, I assume it works pretty much the same in the US or Canada.

You wont get dinged for taxes and shipping again - sideshow will send the replacement labeled as 'replacement parts' and the gov. wont touch it.

I just got a shipping notice on my replacement Aragorn. He should be here on Thursday, and I'll post an update then, both on the number (whether it's the same as the one I returned), and on the condition. If it isn't broken, I'll post some pics.

The hair on yours, is the same as mine, draped over his eye, instead of above his brow. Not a big deal tho

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I'm not that huge a fan of this PF. I own the EX, and I just don't think it's that great, I don't really know why, I can't pinpoint it really, but to me it doesn't capture the character as well as I feel some other PFs I own do (like Captain America who is stunning, or Hellboy). I'd rank this more with Darth Maul, its nice, but not thaat impressive.
It might actually have something to do with the fact that I think Strider Aragorn is the weaker of his looks/character throughout the movies.
On that note, I really want a Boromir PF.
