Just got this...I love it and unless one saw this in person I'm shocked at how freakin big it is. I will photo without flash a lot more on Friday and give my quick review I guess...The positives definitely totally outwiegh the negatives of this monster piece..... till tomorrow

I saw it in person at last years NYCC, it is massive and awesome.

You didn't have any issues putting the snake together?

Congratulations. Now here I'm seeing the snake matching fine. So I scratch my head as to what the problem is for others.
Tell me did you have any issues putting it together?
Is a fantastic 1:4 dio. It's interesting that there is no other company that does this. We are the only company that makes 1:4 dios

Hi Alex

Will be waiting for your response. On the matching numbers though, let's suppose Sideshow sent us non matching numbers, there is nothing we internationals can do about it now is there.. Unless someone will take a massive hit on reshipping stuff and sort out customs..

Something is off. I can't figure it out. The only two that are not matching are here. Everyone else seems to match.
Maybe there's some technique that Adolfo can share with us.
You're right about that. Wouldn't want you to ship these back-and-forth.
Okay let's wait a few more days. Since it was purchased from site show, handling return must go through them first.

I'm going to bet sideshow never matched numbers.
That's why people are having problems, other then that the pictures I have seen look awesome, the girl also look good. I'm thinking when I get mine I might epoxy the snake to the base, just to be safe, and make it more sturdier.

mine is matching numbers, but dont want to make a mess of cleaning all the styrofoam pieces and conan not even here, just checked for damage & luckily no sign of issues.

This is how I have to set up this portion of the snake to get any stability out of it. Just slightly pulled out on one side and the other end that connects to the head is resting on the pushed up stone floor on the base.

How is everyone elses head fitment? And my numbers matched aswell

I gonna give my review now I guess.... First of all the size of the piece is massive, bigger than I ever thought. Second the factory paint apps are superb. If I ever decided to touch this up it would be very minimal. This piece should require all owners to have a shop vac . The styro pieces were everywhere. However the statue pieces were very safe and snug in the styro which I'm sure will keep breakages at a mimimum. As for the lovely snake assembly mine fit in nicely but could get loosened easily if this statue gets moved. Under no circumstances should the statue ever get moved without disassembly. Even cleaning one will have to be cautious. My problem was the girl. While she's better and prettier than I expected. She doesn't fit right. Her peg doesn't go in all the way and she doesn't face the snake as my photos show. In fact her eyes aren't looking anywhere near the snake. I do have a little problem with that. I wish I had the Conan just to see if the snake will meet with him face to face. Until I get the other dio part I will never know. All in all I love it and still can't get over how massive it is. This snake is no joke about 7-8ft. This statue makes a huge statement...a very unique piece.

One Question?....Is the girl meant to be looking directly at the snake? If not then it's not a problem even if I do prefer it. Either way when I permanently set this up on the shelf I won't display the girl

You never look a snake in the eye. :pfft:

Seriously though. When you have the time check to see if there is room to glue small earth magnets to the snake or if holes need to be made?

like someone else said, the snake head has to rest on the rock if you wanna have a chance of it staying put up..its definitely not plugging in or clicking anywhere in any sort of secure manner

hmm that really sucks. prob gonna end up passing on this... the stability issues is a pretty big killer for me.

I would say get it! lol--mine won't stand up but i have full faith that ARH will fix the issue..the piece is honestly too good…its huge, paint job is on point, and its the most impressive piece I've seen in awhile..even the nice pics from last years nycc don't do it justice..its great… and I'm saying this with the thing not standing lol

After several attempts I figure how to put the snake head together. Its playing against gravity with the bottom part resting on the base a bit.If I leave it alone its fine. But I think I'm still gonna put a magnet in the base part and the head part just to be on the safe side.

Wolf, it does seem you can just glue the magnet in place instead of making a hole.1/16th (thick)rare earth magnets will do the trick without taking too much space in the holes.

Its the same thing with fury of the beast where you had to play with it to sit flush with the base.

Get it before it's gone. Seeing is believing. Trust me it's worth it totally and I just don't say that about any piece

Exactly.....

Suppose I should wait for pics with conan. I really did like that helmeted head with the closed mouth. Will wait to see on pics of conan and if ARH can fix stability issues...

I just ordered some thin earth magnets myself. Oh by the way the axe and the 2 helmeted heads are freakin great too. Forgot to mention it earlier
