So you own the statue? And you own a Besta?

Do you own a tape measure? :lol

no, I went broke right after the besta thing lol. the footprint of the base is a bit tricky because part of the snake also has to touch the ground, I took rough measurement but still cant tell for sure.

question for the current owners, does the dio fits above besta cube?

You will be able to position it on the BESTA cube so the snake body will touch and be stable but some of the base will overhang. I have mine on the top of a STUVA cube and it just about fits perfectly..

Fixed

thanks a lot bro, will have to move some pieces & place the dio. Hope he will fits.

How long did you all wait for the dio to show up - i got Conan but the snake and the girl hasnt shown up - been like 3 weeks now :/ - ive reached out to ARH but getting a response that actually says its been sent has been a tad frustrating. Anyways maybe i was just expecting it to all come together but has anyone else had to wait for all the pieces to show up at different times?

Made my last payment a long time ago. Then on Dec 3rd I was asked to send an additional $122 to ship just my Conan since it's to Alaska. Wasn't expecting the extra charges but I paid it and was told that it would ship right away since the shipping label was already made. I've attempted to get an update but have yet to get a reply. I have since lost all excitement for my 3 nycc exclusive Frazetta pieces. Not just due to the new shipping charges that I'd have to pay but the lack of communication. I was ready to purchase Hercules and on the fence for Aries but have since decided to not get either.

Today I received Conan, looks awesome. The photos do not do it justice, now see if from ARH send me soon diorama with the girl and snake.

I received 3 heads, an ax and a sword. I guess the other two heads come with the snake. I have only one problem, and is getting the trunk fits well to the bottom, otherwise very happy.

I am delighted with the quality of this piece, I have fallen in love. I got the last, 50 of 50.

My girl/Snake came from SS, so yes removable pasties and L/E 300 for the Snake/girl. It definitely is numbered as is all pieces from ARH

I had this statue for sometime now, while it turned out nice, the whole experience is just a series of lame excuses and disappointments. I can easily say that this is the firs and last time I order anything from ARH and this is coming from a guy who order stuff from different companies all the time. I don’t want to bore you with the details, but below is what happened if you are interested:

I first got the snake dio in Oct through Sideshow, I inspected it quickly (my fault) everything looks fine back then, contacted ARH to see when they are going to ship my Conan EX, they told me it will ship from China directly since I live in Asia, then they told me it was shipped to the US container by mistake! (turns out later, it wasn't sent by mistake after all) they assured me the Conan EX will be fully inspected and signed by Arahom & send it ASAP (never happened). I emphasized that the dio will be out of Sideshow warranty period, but I was told not to worry and ARH supports all their product even if it was through their distributer. After month & a half of waiting I was told that they couldn’t find me one from the first batch and I have to wait a bit longer, so I waited then after a month (late December) it turned out that there is extra Conan EX after all and send it to me directly without honoring the base singing or the inspection. After I put it together, I noticed some QC issues in the snake, so I asked for replacement parts (they told me before they support their products even if it’s from Sideshow) it turns out they don’t have any replacement and if I wanted it to be fixed I have to send it to them and cover the shipping back and forth! I just paid 400$ just for shipping, it’s funny to ask me to ship two parts of the snake half the glob and pay for that. I then asked for sample paint so that I touch it up myself, they said no, the paint they have in their studio is different than the one in China, I asked then how they are going to touch it up in their studios if the paint is different! now they are saying it’s agains the law to mail paint,,, and this is only a part of the contradicting excuses they keep coming with. I have no problem with their policy if it was cleared out since day one, "we fully support our product even if it was from Sideshow" doesn't mean we dont have replacements or the customer have to pay for shipping, which respectable company do that to their customers? So after spending 1200$+400$shipping+300$customs they refuse to send replacement, help to touch it up or even offer a partial refund (they told me they might try & offer something like 35$ for 1200$ dio!!!)

Edit: now I found out that they have been charging people for replacement shipping even if it was bought from ARH direct! simply "since you bought it from Sideshow you will have to cover the shipping" is not true

Sorry for the long post, this is probably the longest I have ever posted in a forum, but I just wanted to share my experience & give heads up to all collectors (specially international ones) of what to expect from dealing with them. The main issue that they are not honest & direct with their customers, just excuses, one after the other which is disrespectful to say the least; add to that the lack of replacements & the will to help. The communication is top notch till **** hits the fan, then tough luck. I know Sideshow & others have their share of issues lately, but they will never do this funny business with their customers.

damn that sucks :( I just ordered my snake diorama so I hope it comes ok. I will definitely inspect it since I plan on getting my conan later this month.

Probably a good idea to just order straight from sideshow in the future, ex or not instead of getting it direct from ARH. They have had issues in the past as well.

i don't see any problem with the pictures and if there are any its too minuscule to take notice. Problems with ARH could be legit, but small nick of paint missing is common to anything.
