Hi Folks,
I don't want to spit in the soup, but after all this "we try to stay as true to the original as possible to the painting",
the concept of the croc vs. Tarzan is rather "untrue".
It's like making a statue of the battle a few minutes before, also the croc looks nothing like
on the painting, it went from big alligator to normal crocodile. It's also much bigger
Also Tarzan has his signature knife instead of a spear like in the painting.

It's like the concepter only had the informations.
Tarzan+large Crocodile and that's it.

Don't get me wrong, while I don't think the concept is even good when it comes
to visual quality, the statue has a lot of possibilities, but it has nothing at all
to do with the painting, except that it has Tarzan and a crocodile...

Not disappointed, just confused after the "we stay super true to the pictures" talk.

Sure they will not add Cheetah bro but he could be a nice EX in my opinion I can't think Tarzan without him, at the end Tarzan is the king of Apes, right? So a cute chimpanzee like him will complete the story. On the other hand it is strange to remember the King of Pop when seeing a chimpanzee by the way)))

These pictures are from the Tarzan licence and not the Frazetta license, they haven't shown anything from frazetta yet. Only Tarzan

I don't mean to come off like an ******* and not pointing fingers at all (and if I do my apologies), and lord knows I'm guilty of it too, but can we please proof-read posts a little bit…Im re-reading some posts 3, 4 times and Im still stuck, its like trying to solve a word find.

My money is on the Frazetta dio but I'm looking forward to the ARH version too, always good to see more of any character that you really like.

I'm a big fan of both Frazetta & Tarzan, so naturally that's what I'm really wanting to see more.
I think that Troy is sculpting the ARH version, so it could turn out to be just as exciting as the Conan FOTB dio which would be great.

You know what Magnum I think u might be right! The chimp has grown on me. Perfect as an EX..and if removable then its a perfect option. The statue does look very plain without now.

I say we get a poll going and vote on it.

Tarzan vs the Gorilla is a blatant rip off of Sideshow's fury of the beast diorama.

But its not the first time ARH Studios has copied off someone else's work.
