Yep. She'll typically yield if I really expressive how much I like or want something but I didn't put up much of a fight for Conan. I *loved* the movie as a kid but have kind of grown out of it. Seeing this PF brought back a lot of the fondness I've had for the flick and just good old fashioned nostalgia circa 1982 so I preordered it and saw what she thought. She had reservations about the subject matter and I really couldn't argue with her. Her opinion was closer to the voice of reason than a flat out veto.

Yeah, I have freedom over what I want to display in my office and the movie room, and in exchange for that I don't put any of my collectible stuff in the rest of the house. It works pretty well, I guess.

.. I'm just getting around to displaying my collection. Just built two out of three shelf units (third one will be done in a month) .. anyway.. we just moved them into the Computer room/den and the look on her face was pricless when she saw how big these damn things actually are. I told her I need room to put the Big collectables like Darkness in them.. she walked out of the room.

I ordered it, told the Wife... no problem.
Even though she isn't a big Conan fan, she knows how much I love that movie and that scene specifically... so no issues. And it will be displayed in the living room, I will sneak it in one night and hope she won't notice.

Luckily, we have this shelf that is built into the wall of our living room that is PERFECT for PF's. I have a few up there already, but she is a bit picky about what I can put in there. No Darkness PF, she doesn't want people to think we worship Satan. But Conan, I don't see any problems there... I hope.

Some body some Sideshow asked me what I thought about Conan and I said I liked it a lot but the hair was too neat and he needed more blood around.
That is a prototype and hopefully with feedback from us they will add things here and there like dirt him up a bit more like in the movie. It is truly an amazing piece but next to Thor it looked like a 1/6 scale figure.
Too bad we have to wait until MAY to get it......if it doesn't get delayed,of course..

I don't know, I listed a slew of things when the piece went up and the mod's never posted my remarks.
