I think it looks good, but I will be passing on it. I saw Conan recently and just wasn't as impressed with the movie like I was when I was younger.

I put in an order for the exclusive at the last minute, just because I know that if I decide that I want this, I'll want his father's sword (appropriate to this scene or not). I'm not sure that I'll be able to keep it though. I do love Conan, but I was really hoping for another look for the PF.

This has turned out to be the year of Conan for me. First I find the COMPLETE soundtrack on line and now this. Now I just need the Blu ray with the soundtrack in TrueHD 5.1

Ordered the exclusive. Can't help myself! This is the final piece of my childhood love! Indiana Jones and Conan were my obsession as a young 12 year old. Even more then Star Wars. Now I got both coming! Thanks Sideshow!!!!!!

This is how I feel. It's killing me . But I love it at the same time.

I haven't seen the movie in ages. I don't remember his father's sword breaking. Did it happen during the scene where his lover's ghost comes back to save him?

Speaking of which, anyone here if it's coming to BluRay ?

I agree with Jaws.... this year has rocked for the Conan fan. I LOVE the PF, it was my favorite item of the show and an instant order for me. And it's my absolute favorite moment from the film, so how could I not like it.

And no video really does it justice, the thing is a masterwork.

Well Conan just officially joined the ranks of the Red Skull in the "PF's veto'd by the wife" brigade.

I promised her no bloody, gory, or ugly PF's. This one started out on the fence but eventually we mutually agreed that this statue doesn't really represent what we want celebrated in our home. After she asked me to explain the Conan movie and the scene depicted in the PF I think you guys would have really gotten a kick out of hearing me explain "but honey he's the *hero* in the dismemberment/cannibalism/orgy sequence...!"
