I like it, I don't think he's nowhere near as good an actor, but I can see Arnie doing the roles Eastwood used to do at that age.

He will just play his roles knowing he is older now. The older tough guy Clint Eastwood.

Yeah Sly has aged far better than Ahnold, although he has that kinda botox face look.

Sly's muscles though are all veiny and wrinkly, and although it's great these old guys can still have muscles, it just looks bad.

I think Arnold looks older, or aged more, because he was out of the game for a long while. I don't think his priority was working out, or prepping up for a movie role.
So that's one thing.
The other is, the stress of his politics and personal life probably added to the stress as well.

He could still start to begin to get in better shape again now that he's back in the game.
But he's in his mid 60's. He's going to start looking his age whether we like it or not. Just like Ford in the last Indy.

Film looks by the numbers. Arnie looks awful and he can't act. It's sad coz he's an icon.
As for his physique I don't put it down to his age or how lazy he's become but perhaps more to do with his past heart problems...

Yeah I agree with the loose wrinkly skin, But I think being veiny is just something that comes with muscle mass, not necessarily from being old.

Yup. Though I'll miss getting all the campaign and bill-proposal phone messages from him (pre-recorded "message from your governor"), he's back where he belongs. A little worse for wear but he actually looks better for it.

I don't think Arnold has aged too bad. I always thought he looked old ( but cool ) in the End of Days and that was 1999 so we're talking a almost 14 years later( that makes me feel old ! ) and those would be the years in life you'd probably age the most so he hasn't done too bad.

Keep in mind this guy is 70 in a five years.
I'm sure with botox , HCG and without the added stress of politics he'd look just as good if not better than Stallone.

It's amazing what a little hair dye and make-up can do.

But wholly agree. If only we could all look as good at 65.

at all the people that think they are going to look like some super fit 30 year old when they are in their 60's.

Arnold is old. Sure he could pump up on HGH like Sly but doesn't have to. This role is obviously a old cop kicking ass and looks like fun. As a fan of 80's action I welcome it and the "I'm to old for this ****" lines.
