Art Appreciation - Pin-Up Style

Well I just got another copyright infringement complaint through Flickr from that mypsptubes.com It's complete crap cause I'm not even getting the artwork from their site but the artists Deviantart pages. It seems to be most of the digital Pin-up artists doing work today that have their work on that site and those happen to be some of my favorites.

I'm really pissed off about it and I guess I'll just be posting Pin-up art from past artists from now on. I'm pretty sure someone is seeing the artwork in here and reporting it cause it's only the ones I've posted here that got deleted from Flickr.

I'm gonna rearrange the art that's in my albums on my Profile, so if anyone wants to see some of the artwork I would have posted in here can see it there in a little bit.

Darklord Dave posted a while back saying that someone contacted him about Mypsptubes. I think somebody joined the board and found this thread and has been trolling it looking for pics from that site.

I honestly don't think it's gonna matter what I use cause I've gotten something from Photobucket before also. I agree with Ill, I firmly believe someone is just trying to spoil this thread for us and I'm really fed up with it.

For those with plans to visit Dodson...

I will be at CCI next week for my 20th straight annual pilgrimage to San Diego.

I will be at booth 4706, sharing the booth with Aaron Lopresti. It's the same location as I've been for the last couple of years. I should be at the booth for most of the show and Rachel will be there occasionally as well.

I will have my new book, BOMBSHELLS Book 1, will be debuting at San Diego. It will be for sale for $25 at the show and will be available through Stuart NG and Bud Plant after the show.

In addition I will have a selection of original art, and some prints available for sale.

AND, yes I will be doing sketches at the show.

Thats stupid. Its not like you were trying to make money or claim ownership. i have asked people to remove stuff from their website but only because they took credit for my work or it was an adult image hosting site.

Suck it hard. DA has some awesome artwork and I havent heard them say not to use images from the site yet.

I would like to get a book from Frank Cho if he has one. I like that most of the time his are nice hard covers or well produced softcovers.

I really dislike paper sketchbooks with the cheap paper covers. But that is just me.

Well Cho makes artbooks and alot of artist do Con books because its cheaper. Its easier to sell a $10 book vs a $25 one. I have the Jungle Queen book and its really put together. Campbell sells paper sketchbooks but they are sturdy.
