Brooks, Ragnar, Dodson and Ramos' books will be mine. :yess:

Not too impressed with Campbell's so far, I've seen everything in the preview so far.

The list of new books coming from Brand Studio Press came out. Here's a few artists that caught my eye and that I know some people on here like. I'll post the link to the page at the end.....

Fernando Vicente.

I've never heard of him before but the artwork in this looks great. It says he's already a household name in Spain Europe and this is his first U.S. book.

J. Scott Campbell

This one looks simply amazing and it's supposed to have even more beauties than his last book! :D The only thing is apparently it's gonna be his last "color" art book so I'm pretty bummed about that.

They print some awesome artbooks. I'd love to get my artbook printed by them.

I've seen some of it before also but to me there's a big difference between seeing it on the internet and having it printed in an Art book. I don't have any prints either so having some of them in the book is especially great for me.

I just love Art books so much.

Thinking about getting that Fernando Vicente book.
Yeah his art looks great. I hadn't heard of him until now.

And I love the art books that Brand Studio Press puts out but they're a little too pricey in my opinion. I know they're hardcover but at 48 pages, $25 or more seems kinda high.

I'd like to pick up the Dodson book but the sites says "Product not found"
They're still in the process of adding them.

Patience Snoopy. :lol :wave

Yeah I havent heard of him until now.

But its 48 colored pages in a hardcover. the cheapest I can see a hardcover artbook go for is $19.99. So $25 isnt bad. And I'm sure the pages are a decent weight.

Yeah I guess your right.

I have J. Scott Campbell's book from last year by Brand Studio and it really is a well made book with really nice pages.

I guess the main problem is I just don't have the money to get all the ones I want. :monkey2

Atleast your honest about it how you feel about the artbooks. I'm in the same boat. I have Darth talon, Wolverine and Gambit all on order and all are being processed soon enough. Tough.

I've pretty much stopped collecting statues save for a couple here and there. I'm switched over more to art books right now.

A couple years back I made a huge BrandStudio order through their website/blog and most of the books were really great.

I wasn't too impressed with JSC, and not because of the quality of the book (far from it), but he himself chooses some of the lamest pieces he's done. Not to say they they're bad, but he has a whole career of works that he just ignores and he tends to focus on the same images/newest images he's made. He put in the same Chun-Li/Cammy image that was released in the Udon Street Fighter Tribute book that year, and while that's only one excuse, it's comparable to most everything else he put in his books.

I'm kinda expecting the same with this one honestly and I'm not overtly excited about it.

Now for the other names, I'm more excited for them.

Francisco Herrera is always excellent and has a lot of good, raw sketches with a few finalized pinup covers included, but not too many. He's very polished imo and his Sketchbox volumes are very good.

Humberto Ramos is hit or miss imo. His Fairy Tales book is quite excellent, but his Toxic Waste was, well kinda, a waste. I'll be very curious to check his stuff out.

Everyone else listed looks promising. I'm especially interested in the SU HAITAO ART SCRAPBOOK and the EPONYMONSTROUS By Ragnar books.

I'm more than hoping that Dean Yeagle is gonna have another PJ book that he's gonna sell at his own table, but so far I haven't heard one word about him releasing anything.
