I think it was $20 each, but there was a deal if you bought a certain amount. Maybe 2 for $30 I think? Can't remember.

Yeah, he didn't show up to the artist alley until 11ish I think and he was close to the massive tshirt booth so his table was easily missed/bypassed.

I was thinking of picking up one of his Heavy Metal exclusive, but just glad to have picked up these 2 prints from him.

Hope he's at the Long Beach Comic-Con :pray::pray::pray:

How much were his prints at SDCC ??????

look up^. Are you going to that one? If he goes, you gotta hook it up man :monkey3

Okay 2 for $30 was pretty much a standard around the artist booth. If I do go to the Long Beach CC, I'll hook you guys up.

Wondering why they can't sell their prints online??? Maybe because they're licensed characters ????

ANd yes it is because they do not have licenses that they cannot sell them online like that.

finished, inked & done!

Alright, I need you guy's(gal's) opinions. I got my Bruce Timm piece in the mail today, but it looks weird to me. On the left is what the finished piece is, the middle being the black and white composition, and the right being my own edit in Photoshop.

Timm drew in the eyes and teeth on the left which makes her look odd to me. Her jaw looks kinda retarded with the teeth and the eyes bug me. But by whiting out those areas the piece looks 100% times better to me. Should I take an eraser to the original piece and try my best to recreate what I did in Photoshop, or is that really disrespectful to the artist and his creation??

I actually like the original more, but I'm not the one who'se going to be looking at it for the rest of my life.

If it bugs you and you think you can pull of the alterations then go nuts, but it's really not something you want to screw up (insert Captian Obvious pic here.....)

I actually like the changes you made using PS. did he send the image to you already? if not, then suggest them to him and then atleast it was Timm who made the changes and not you.

Yea, he already sent me the final piece. I wasn't able to see it or the prelim before he finished the commission, so this is just how it came out.

I really love the pose and the composition over all, especially the black and white, so it's just the eyes and teeth/mouth that I feel look awkward on an otherwise really great piece. But I guess the major consensus on this board is that it's better with these details left in *shrugs*

In my eyes it's a big no no to $#%@ with someone elses work

I wouldn't mess with it. Personally, I think it would be in poor taste to alter something that was specially made for you by an artist. Yes, you did pay for it and own it, so it is yours to do with what you please...BUT...altering something so minor could really come off as a slap in the face to the artist.

And with the way things spread on the Internet, it wouldn't be surprising if said alterations got back to Timm, and, if offended, it could burn your bridges with any future commissioned art.

Just something to consider.
