Hello -
Sonia and I are going to New York tomorrow for the Big Apple Con, our last convention for 2009! We will be selling the Rogue and Gambit prints for the last time at a convention. We only have about thirty or so left of each (both are numbered to 100) so hopefully we'll sell out, as we've done with the number that we brought to each of the cons we had them at (although we usually only brought 15 or so of each previously, so there's that.) Any that's left we'll probably just sell online. They're $40 each.
I'll probably just be doing headsketches for the convention as usual, for $40 also. They're all in pencil with greytones, and I get told a lot that I'm undercharging for them, so I think most people think they're a good deal.
I might do some full figure commissions to take with me in my hotel room, also in pencil and greytones, but those would be $300. It's a bit high because I can really only do at most one or two a night, which is why I generally don't do them, especially when I have the opportunity to go out and EAT New York (thank you opentable.com!)
Since Wizard is generously paying for our flights and hotel for the con, we're extending our stay a little to take in the sights and calories that the city has to offer. If anyone has any suggestions in regards to what to do while we're there (the more tourist-y the better) or eat (the less tourist-y the better) that would be really appreciated!
See you there!
(2010 is already shaping up to be ridiculous con-wise. Between March and April alone we're already slated to go to Orlando, Houston, and Puerto Rico. Sonia loves her free trips! I told her that Houston is like Disneyland but cuter and with more candy. Don't burst her bubble.)
