Received mine today. What a pain in the butt to put together. Those damn "finger" blades kept falling off -- not to mention 4 of them were already off (these things could seriously use some damn directions). And one particular piece -- one of those "bent wires" was floating around in the box and I still can't figure out where it goes. That being said, he's absolutely fantastic looking in hand, but I won't ever be touching this thing again -- such a shame it can't actually be an "action figure." My fingers hurt just from messing with the thigh belts and those damn loose blades (didn't stab myself, but arthritis). The likeness is fantastic, and the sculpted hair is really impressive (probably the only time I don't mind sculpted hair of this kind).

Interesting to hear the troubles you guys are having mine is set to be delivered on Tuesday due to MLK day, so I won’t find out for myself until later. Very curious if I will have the same problems

Mine had the loose wire too. I think it's actually supposed to be attached to his left boot.

Any tricks you found worked for getting the straps on?

As far as the straps, what I did was to put the tongue of the belt thru the buckle while just loose in my hand, and once started, slip it over the boot and up the leg. Pulled it tight on the leg and then pushed the tongue thru the other end of the buckle with a sharp, needle-pointed tool carefully — because the buckles are honestly too f#@king small (or is the belt too thick…). It took forever (at least it felt that way to my fingers), but it worked.

That's how I got the first one on. But here I am, 3 1/2 hours later and still trying to get the dang tongue through the buckle with ZERO success.

Art Figures probably realized they would lose money trying to get factory workers to try to do this nearly impossible task. Dry fitting as we speak to get ready to glue it. grrrrrr

Finally able to do it. Materials needed: tweezers and my phones magnifying app.

I never want to go through that again!

I hear you. Honestly, I hate having to do this kind of “assembly” — it’s why I tend to avoid the more intricate military figures where you have to add all the damn insignia, pouches, etc.. It’s like, “Hey, I just paid 100% of the money! The factory can do 100% of the F’ing work!”

You'll never know the joys of assembling Hot Toys' Colonial Marines or AvP Predators...
You actually had to assemble the figure itself, even the bodies. It was beautiful.

Finally rewatched the movie for the first time since probably the 90s, and while it doesn't hold up quite as well as I expected (or as well as Beetlejuice which I also checked out recently), the character design is still incredible so I will definitely need to pick this up now. At least if I can still find it anywhere...

Wow incredible figure got mine today how ever this is such a delicate figure. It's very frustrating to put together to the point when my 2nd arrives I'm possibly selling.

Out the box bits have fallen off and chipped. Poor effort on art figures. would of been better if was in a separate box or made of metal.
