I'm seeing Clive Owen in that Z sculpt. Maybe it's the picture quality.

I didn't bother to but the shoulder holster on mine. I'm on the look out for a back holster (if they even exist in 1/6 scale)

Barney Ross came with a back holster, but I don't know if the 1911 will fit in it.

I've ordered the shirt, pants, jacket and grenade launcher (so far) to build a custom Punisher, but I don't really like the head sculpt (so I'll keep looking for another one).

However, I'm wondering about which body to use. The comic version of Punisher (that I'd like to go for) is bulky and muscle bound, so I'm thinking about the new Andrew body from ACI. Do you guys think it would be an ok choice?

took some better pics of my modified TJ Punisher. Personally I think Z's sculpt is a big improvement over the Art Figures head sculpt which is nice but looks more like Dylan McDermott from American Horror Story than Thomas Jane. Anyway on with the pics hope ya like em.

He holds poses great :)

Both The Punisher 2004 film and Punisher Warzone 2008 were Lionsgate films not Marvel so they would not fall under a general Marvel Studios film license. Now if the craptastic sounding TV Show Marvel will be doing of the Punisher takes off and Art Figures did an unlicensed figure of that they may have Marvel knockin on their door. I for one hope the TV show never sees the light of day so probably won't ever be an issue LOL!

Actually to the best of my knowledge, 2004 Punisher was the FIRST movie to be produced under the MARVEL STUDIOS line. Although It was a lionsgate distributed film it definitely was a Marvel Studios movie.

No the first film to be produced by Marvel Studios themselves was Iron Man, The 2004 Punisher film was made by Artisan who went out of business before the film was released and their catalog was sold off and Lionsgate bought the rights and released the film.

Hi,

Does anyone think it's possible to modify the head and neck of this figure to the ACI or hot toys muscle body? I personally don't see how it is possible but my figures right arm came broken. Trying to get a replacement from Vikingplayground but haven't gotten a response yet. However, it would be better in my opinion to get the head onto another body cause I am not a fan of the body that this figure has. thanks

I don't know. I'm sure it can be modded but the head and neck adapters are different from the AF body to the HT muscle body.
So far, my figure has been pretty solid. Sorry to hear about the arm.

Oh yea, no probs. :)

Yeah, me too. Three of the last four figures I have gotten have had major issues with QC. The OC BW Batman from Hot Toys left boot wouldn't fit. My Enterbay Leon figure's glasses and hat were messed up and my Art Toys Avenger figure came with a broken left arm. The only one that hasn't been messed up is my Indiana Jones from Hot Toys. It hasn't been a good month in toy world for me. Just be careful with his arms cause the joint pegs in the arms are very very small, like 3 to 4mm in diameter.

How would this be accomplished? I am not a big customized so any tips would be greatly appreciated. :)

Not really much I can tell you without really being there and showing you hands on...

Mainly a nice dremel with alternate settings, spare sculpey in case the head is hollow and a Hot Toys neck plug that can be DAP glued on to make sure it stays in place once you have the whole drilled far enough to where it sits nicely on the muscle body.
