There is really no need to mod this guy. Maybe switch out the shoes but otherwise a great looking figure. :rock

Is he accurate in terms of weapons?

His weapons are all wrong.

However his trademarked 1911 colts modified look really good and to me that was the most important aspect to get right. Assault rifles and shotguns are a dime a dozen on ebay if you want to go for accuracy. However those colts are special and you would have to customize them but the ones he came with are great so no need to replace them.

CPLHICKS do you know exact guns he had in the movie ?
they do look pretty good with the figure.

They do look good and considering he's the Punisher and it really doesn't matter as he uses tons of different guns in his time as the Punisher.

However if you want movie accuracy I suggest the awesome Wikiguns. They have so many movies in there with every gun in the movie listed. You also learn a lot about crazy mistakes and other errors in the movie relation to guns.

the weapons are pretty accurate, the only major thing the got wrong is that he doesn't have the rear belt holster, instead they gave him a shoulder holster which he never used in the film.

doubt it... the way HT do business thesedays, if they thought art figures posed a real threat I'm sure they'd be on to marvel asap trying to get them to shut these guys down for lack of license.

still waiting for mine. looks great from the pics though.

They'd have to actually have the Punisher film licenses to do anything about it though.

i'm not 100% on how this licensing works... if they use the likeness and the character trademarks does it still constitute a breach of copyright? or are they safe calling it "avenger" and not explicitly advertising it as marvel? do marvel even care since this is more of a sony property? someone at marvel must have seen this figure. maybe less likely someone from sony has. otherwise i imagine they'd have put a C&D order out already.

anyway, even if HT don't have the license to make the figures i could still see them running to mama and telling them that little bro has been naughty. just for brownie points and to make little bro cry.

Both The Punisher 2004 film and Punisher Warzone 2008 were Lionsgate films not Marvel so they would not fall under a general Marvel Studios film license. Now if the craptastic sounding TV Show Marvel will be doing of the Punisher takes off and Art Figures did an unlicensed figure of that they may have Marvel knockin on their door. I for one hope the TV show never sees the light of day so probably won't ever be an issue LOL!

Just finished a review on this great figure, here's some pics to share:rotfl

Yeah I broke out the Aves and gave him a few strands of hair coming down on to his forehead since 90% of the time in the movie his hair was a bit mused up.
