I believe the helmet is definitely removable as posted by fellow freaks here.
Some of the pictures of his helmet has the "sponge" on both sides of his face which indicate helmet removal is definite.
PO him with my local toy shop at USD$ $144 (SGD $180) but most probably the final price will be around USD $132 with shipping.
I wonder how Stanlore manage to PO him at USD$100 and even Asia is not that low in price but it is good for collectors with Art Figures.

I'm so glad I hung on to the DAM Karl Urban HS, it will be interesting to see what it looks like under the helmet.

Where is the best place to order this from in the UK? After what happened to Mother's Basement i'm weary of pre ordering from small businesses.

CollectableKitbash or Onesixthbruce are the best imo. But everything is a risk these days, small and big businesses are going under all the time.

Still no word from any of our local dealers regarding PO, but a store was willing to do special order for me (they don't distribute Art Figures) for $180. Either I bite that or get from a HK online store for $150 shipped with the risk of paying custom fees (sucks being in a country run by corrupt politicians).

From OSB's Facebook:

'With request from Rebellion Developments Ltd: 2000 AD & Judge Dredd license holders, the ART FIGURES - AF-015 - Heavy Armoured Special Cop has been taken down from OSB.
Emails will be sent out to those who have already preordered this weekend.
Thanks
OSB'

That's a real shame. Am confident that OSB will refund without me chasing though. I wonder if this will prompt the making of a licensed figure?

Maybe it is just OneSixthBruce since they are a UK company. It's still up on Monkey Depot so I ordered from them.

Relax guys. It's up everywhere else.

It's not canned, they are an overseas company, there is literally nothing the license holders can do to prevent these from being produced. They can only limit the places where they have legal jurisdiction that can sell them. So they may be tough to get in some countries but if you just grab it off ebay, they can't do a thing to stop it.

Hopefully it's not art figures being pressured but the stores themselves.

Art Figures aren't a U.S. based company. They are overseas where the license holders have zero ability to sue or shut them down.

If you buy one on ebay from China for example, there is no way they can stop the transaction.

Collectable Kitbash:

It appears theres a Problem with the Art Figures AF-015 being pulled ...will update as soon as we get confirmation ...

I've just ordered one from KG Hobby who are a Hong Kong company, in the hope that I can still get one.

Just after i ordered. Typical

Wish Art Figures and the license holders could come to an agreement and make this an official release, even if it costs more. Any merchandise revenue can only help the chance of a sequel. My guess though is we'll have to buy these directly from Asia when they are released. Don't blame the license holders at all here though with so much demand they should have done something with Hot Toys or Sideshow already.
