HT did POTA with "real fur" and it was pretty successful. I am assuming rocket would have same exposed parts which wouldn't make it a stretch....that said I believe he will be sculpted....

The gorillas are among my favourite Hot Toys. The hair is really manageable too!

Well ahead of their time IMO.

They can't even use real-like hair for their female figures. No sense in expecting fur-like full figure

It's cool that Hot Toys picked up the Guardians of the Galaxy license! I could see myself getting at least Star-Lord! I wonder what outfit they're going to put him in.

I'd probably want Rocket just for the novelty of having a Hot Toys Space Raccoon. I hope they don't go the cheap-I route and make him a fully sculpted accessory for Groot, or something, though.

He'll probably be paired with Groot, or else have a LOT of accessories

One of the main reasons I don't want them to be a combo. They'll cut too many corners to bring the price down. Rocket will literally be an an add-on accessory for Groot. They'll make him hollow so he can hook on to Groot's back with a magnet I don't want HT to be tempted to do that. Rocket needs to be a full fledged stand alone figure with his own accessories/base

That would be ideal in my opinion, I don't mind paying more for a good figure, I do mind paying more for a bad figure

If they did it really well with nice pose-ability and mobility and joints, with realistic fur, and a few accessories I honestly would. It'd be more complete feeling than Falcon for example who has a great sculpt but the wings seems kind of lacking and the arms are ugly which for me doesn't justify the price. So for a well done Rocket that's reasonable.

Rockets height is listed as 4' tall. That would make his figure 8" compared to the normal 12" figures. Are there any other figures out there in that scale and size? Might Rocket fall pray to the HIS BODY WOULD BE A ONE TIME USE SO WE'RE NOT MAKING HIM possibility?
