Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - Guardians of The Galaxy - Collectible Figurines

Annihilation/Annihilation Conquest is some of the best stuff you'll find anywhere. From there read Nova and GotG. War/Realm of Kings is eh, and Thanos Imperative left me wanting more. Didn't dig the Cancerverse at all. But still, the overall story is great. I have everything starting from Thanos' series until the end of The Thanos Imperative in single issue. I actually almost have all the major marvel cosmic events from Infinity Gauntlet on in single issue lol. Kind of a cosmic crackhead if you will. Makes me sad we'll never see Silver Surfer or Galactus in MCU.

Just like me! :lol I collect graphic novels tho, I like to have them all collected together in books. Nothing compares to the Infinity Saga imo, some of the best art and stories I've read from Marvel. Starlin is the man, and Lim draws Thanos like nobody else can.

Well you cant be 100% sure that we wont, I found Thanos Imperative to be the best post annihilation book imo

Starlin is easily the best when it comes to writing cosmic Marvel stuff(and his Batman isn't anything to scoff at either lol). Anything he writes I pretty much pick up...at least at some point.

I def didn't dislike Thanos Imperative, but there was something about it that didn't do it for me. Either way, to me, it's required reading. And I believe this next issue of current GotG run will finally answer some questions.

And I def believe we aren't getting those row in MCU. Unless marvel buys back FF, I don't see fox selling rights to those two characters alone. Hopefully I'm wrong lol.

I hope they do get the rights back sometime

Won't happen. Only thing Fox has going for its FF franchise is the big villains Galactus and Annihilus and the Silver Surfer could be spun off into his own film.

Exactly. It would literally take the hand if God to get those characters back to Marvel.

My thoughts exactly! Nova lead-in to the first Annihilation made him into my favorite marvel character and the event made Civil War look like a joke. (Check out Nova and Iron Man discussing this in one of the first issues of Nova!) The Kings series were more like studying for me, wasn't that interested in the story, but I pushed through it for more background on Abnett and Lanning's cosmic universe. Interested to see the possible upcoming events and waiting for Richard Rider to return!

I'll ****ing buy everyone at Marvel Studios steak dinners if we get Victor back at home where he belongs. Can you just imagine how AMAZING things would be if we got Doom in the MCU? He would definitely be one of the better supervillains in the MCU. And the Reed/Tony banter. Hell, if we got Reed, Tony, and Stephen, then we already have 3 parts of the Illuminati....and then we could still introduce Black Bolt and Black Panther. We would technically only be missing Charles.

How did i forget Doom :slap he would be great but they've gone above him now with Thanos. Would of had my top 5 villains in the MCU if they had him tho.

In order: Thanos, Ultron, Loki, Dr. Doom & Red Skull
