If they do a box set, they mind as well do box sets for every license and franchise at a small discount, but they will never do that.

+1 for the box set but I wouldn't care either way

My big thing is I think Starlord's trench coat is cool, but I like the jacket look better. However if we can undo the strap and have the jacket open like it is in your sig then I'm good to go! I've pretty much decided that I will be getting drax and star lord for sure so the uniform look would be cool...

My hope is, if there's a major look missing some other company will fill in the cracks, but I'm with you, the more choices in the box the better.

Rocket is my only definite right now.

A Starlord and Groot come in next depending on how much I like them in the movie. Drax is on the poor end of a maybe at the moment, again on how much I like him. Gamora is a no simply cos I was never bothered about her as a character

I think a box set for multiple characters is out of HT's strategy, but you never know. It would be a great way to get folks to plunk down a whole bunch of money at once is long as collectors got a tidy break on the cost per figure. For HT it could be a great way to help sell-through B-string characters they might not be sure about (such as Faora or Sif). I could see that working for several lines like Thor (Sif & Heimdall, The Warriors Three), BTTF (Doc & Marty 80s pack, Future pack, Western pack), Avengers AoU, X-Men (70s team, future team, DoFP, X2), Batman & Robin, etc. From a collectors standpoint these would probably go up nicely in value especially if they came with exclusives. If HT does do a GotG box set they should let folks know it's coming in advance. Nothing would burn me up more than buying a couple of individual figs and then HT goes "ta-da! here's comes the exclusive box set with extra bling bling and stuff."

I love Zoe Saldana, so I'm looking forward to seeing her in this role and hope it's well written for her. I'm all for more well written and strong female characters in these films.

From my guess, if I can only get 2-3 figures they will be Gamora, Quill, and Rocket. The full team probably won't be possible for me....those 3 would be challenge enough, depending on when they arrive.

I'm in for Star Lord and Rocket, maybe Gamora and Drax if the movie really rocks. Groot if it's better than The Avengers or if him an Rocket are a package deal.

Starlord and Rocket are on the top of my list - followed closely by Groot. The other 2 will have to really blow me away in the movie for me to try to find a way to afford them. Since I am a girl I need more than just being hot from Gamora .
