I to will probably pass on these, the film looks like it's going to be great but I never read any of the comics related to these guys infact they always seemed to me to be a little 'B teamish' when it came to Marvel. The film may inspire me to look at buying but as DA says there are so many other great figures about and coming out, these are likely to be quite far down the list.

Me too, but I'm still considering getting just Rocket and Groot. It's funny, because growing-up I kind of disliked GotG (conceptually they seemed pretty silly) and had no hopes for the movie, but it has been steadily growing on me since we started seeing teasers and art. Will really depend on much I like the movie and how well those two figures come out. Thinking they might be a nice stand alone representation of that part of the Marvel Universe.

I'm planning on skipping Groot as well. Keep in mind I'm fan of the movies, not comics so there is little incentive for me nostalgia wise. Plus with AoU coming I need to be strict about what I get.

Me, too.

TWS is my priority now, and by the time there's a possibility of me being freed up enough to get GOTG figures, AOU will be literally right around the corner or staring me in the face. It's impossible for me to get everything, and I know ultimately I'll be more excited about Avengers 2.

Release dates are important for me with these to even contemplate getting a couple - and right now with everything coming up it looks like I'll have to pass completely.

I've had to cancel 8 figures just to be sure I could have money for AoU. But I am going to try and work in GotG because these look awesome!!! If there is ever any doubt, I'll just cancel my preorders for these when AoU rolls around. Seems like a good enough plan

Oh I know... its getting crazy, I wish HT would take a year off
I have TWS then, lots of Predator and Alien stuff, then GOTG and then AOU right after

At the point where I had to limit what I collect........I am strictly Marvel everything else is a strength exercise...

Wouldn't count on it, they still have to reveal Maleficent and then I'm hoping they announce another Predator, I could see them announcing these closer to the end of next month

We got a "backstage photo" for Captain America TWS too...looks like it was 3 days later that we saw the teaser for GA Cap. But then again the figures looked complete in that backstage pic where as in this one...not so much

I would guess around the middle of next month before we see specs on the 1st complete figure. I plan on getting all 5 IF the movie is good, never read the comic but i really like how they look. I also want to pick up AoU figures but it will be late 2015 spring 2016 before those start shipping so i should be safe.

I agree. And I'm in the same boat as you. Not a comic person, fan of the movies which dictates if I get these. If its good, I'm looking to get Starlord, Drax and Rocket
