I usually don't consider buying anything other than Iron Man armours. But Star Lord, Groot, and Rocket might break my tradition!

So psyched for this movie! Put me down for the whole team, if Hot Toys bothers to make all of them, plus any other key supporting characters or villains.

Yeah i hope they do an Avengers and make the whole cast, but i'm hoping for the Guardians and a villain, but would love to get a couple villains, especially if Thanos appears.

groot would have to be the size of grievous (16") to be in scale while rocket would be most likely 4". they should be a set....a hugely overpriced set for about $389.99.

Not really, Groot in that pic is only a foot taller than Drax. He will probably change size throughout the film so the right scale for him is a bit open, maybe the final act will determine that.

Yeah, I'd imagine that they will put rocket and Groot together for a higher price which would make sense.

What a bunch of A-holes! What a line!

haha to be honest, I actually kind of with they used the full term instead of A-holes XD I dunno why. Anyway, the Star-Lord fig is probably gonna have two heads, a masked one that lights up and the Peter Quill head. They're probably gonna have to make new body types for Drax, Groot, and Rocket aren't they.

Frankly, I can only see Hot Toys making a 1/6 Star Lord from this line.

That will be available late 2015-early 2016.

I was just thinking yesterday, I thought they actually said a$$holes when we saw it at SDCC. I had heard that they tuned it down a bit for D23, they may have dubbed in the A-holes remark. And in the footage at SDCC there was a shot of Star Lord giving someone the finger, which looks to have been removed here.

All in the name of Disney.

I was just thinking yesterday, I thought they actually said a$$holes when we saw it at SDCC. I had heard that they tuned it down a bit for D23, they may have dubbed in the A-holes remark. And in the footage at SDCC there was a shot of Star Lord giving someone the finger, which looks to have been removed here.

All in the name of Disney.

yeah that evil mouse told us that we couldn't bring "any toy guns" to D23. My Son was bummed, he wanted to bring his big Destroyer Gun with his Coulson costume.

Ha! No kidding. Funny thing is, right at the end of the day we took this photo. And it wasn't until about 5 minutes afterwards it finally hit me and I thought "wait a minute!!?" Then I wondered if we'd just walked in with the Destroyer gun, if anyone would have even said anything.

That will be available late 2015-early 2016.

Given that its not out till November next year and the amount of delays these figures normally have that's not going to be too far from the truth unfortunately. Maybe 2017/18 for the full line up to be complete.

August 2014 dude, we could see the first figure out by the end of the year, Hot Toys have a year to get their act together

Either way if we go by the Avengers line by the end of 2015 we should have the full team.

I'd definitely be interested in Star Lord. Thankfully that one seems to be a lock for HT to do.
