Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

Its like comparing street walkers with high class call girls.

2/ New developed muscle body (more like a rotocast body) representing the Batman's shape and proportions + fabric suit with expandex inside

I can easily see Joseph Tsang sculptin' new body like it was with T2JD T800 figure.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

i think, unfortunately, you may be correct Valvoliner.
HOWEVER, given what they did with spidey, Because they wanted him to be as poseable as possible, we just MIGHT see batman get similar treatment, with a Vinyl outfit ALA Battlesuit Jill.

This would be the best option imo... however the Video Game Masterpices figures are quite underrated for HT.. therefore I'm still betting for the Rubber Suit + TT inside, athough I dislike that idea :(

Just try talk less about it and maybe everything will be fine :wink1::lol

I'll try :lol

His costume isn't rubber it's and armoured fabric
Right, His costume is'nt rubber, no doubt ... but, do you think HT gonna make a super intricated armoured fabric suit for him?

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

His costume isn't rubber it's and armoured fabric

That is correct! No rubber! It will not be accurate to the game.

My Arkham suit took months with over 15-18 stitched parts.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

Would hate to have to pass on this due to rubber suit. Have not bought a rubber suited figure yet, and don't plan to. Really hoping they find an alternative.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

I don't think the first ever VGM DX should be from an adapted franchise, especially the Joker whose had two already.

It should be from an original gaming franchise.

You know what, just STFU. Boo hoo. Its not MGS. Get over it. They wouldn't have given Snake ERS anyway. :lol

I would actually prefer it if PERS were a standard feature in all Hot Toys figures without having to pay the DX price for it.

In any case, I agree. This figure should come loaded with features and accessories.

I think just about every Batman from here on should get PERS. They've perfected it with Keaton. He can't move his neck due to the design, so having the eyes move adds to much to the look. So I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same with AC Bats.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

They've not really perfected it yet.

Keaton has a fugly PERs control panel which was unnecessary

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

I've never really liked the PERS personally. Never use it on anybody really.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

I think PERS only works on certain characters/figures. Batman and Jack Sparrow are two perfect examples. Jack has so much character in his eyes and PERS was perfect for him. Batman (movie version at least) can't move their heads so the eyes is the only way to get them looking in different directions. Plus with the mask, it really helps hide any strange look the PERS gives on, say, the Joker figures.

:dunno

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

It looks great on Keaton Batman and adds a lot to him given his fixed neck but yeah like I said, they need to be smarter about the access to it

The DX02 had a conveniently hidden control under the head, but the PERs execution was bad and goofy

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

Who looks at the back of their figures? :huh

I don't anyone who poses their figures with their faces to the back .:dunno

It doesn't bother me . i don't see it bros :wave

Umair your selling you DX Bats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :horror WTF is happening :panic:

While I am a fan of PERS, I agree, PERS only works for certain characters. I don't think every figure needs it really. I also don't think this needs it if he has neck articulation. I wonder how they're going to go about his neck anyway. I would hate a big seem around his neck.

And for those that might say that's how it is for Keaton Bats, it's not. Keaton's seam is just on the back of the head which has no neck articulation. If HT makes the neck and head separate, that would be pretty noticeable and unsightly IMO. but at the end of the day, if it all works out and looks great, even with a separate neck and head, i'll most likely buy it

I think in his FS thread he had before he went to eBay he said he had 3 anyways :lol

but yea, I don't mind how it was done for Keaton Bats.

I like my figures to look good from all angles :dunno
Doesn't mean I think Keaton bats fails or anything silly like that, just means I think it's still got room for improvement

And yeah, sold my 3rd DX02, making way for at least 1-2 TDKR versions :rock

There wasn't really anywhere else they could put it though.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

On a dx figure we should get 2 heads one with and the other without can't be hard as they already have the mold done.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure

I'm not too fussed about PERS either - it's nice to have but I wouldn't miss it if it wasn't there.
I do like the interchangeable faceplates a lot though and hopefully we'll get some of those with this AC Batman.
