Actually there are a few differences between the two suits. The gauntlets, boot guards and belt are all different. Some might also argue that the suit is blue in AA and black in AC.

Decided to give AA a play. The main body of it is the same, the belt is different, has gaps between pouches. And the cape is different when you glide, doesn't really have the bat hooks on the bottom.

Arkham Asylum suit is kind of strange because inside the first part of the game, it looks blue... but once you go outside and in a few of the other
buildings, the suit is black. *shrugs*

Almost done AA (I've beaten it before mind you) you definitely got a point there. It's definitely blue in the beginning but mutates into black the rest of the game. It was pretty consistent blue in AC if I remember correctly.

I actually just got the AA Play Arts figs of Joker and Bats today. I really like them but Bats cape is clunky.

It only looked blue inside, but black outside in AA. Its always black in AC though

I'm looking forward to the Batmobile myself . It's strange, but since last year, I've inadvertently become a Batman collector. I wasn't planning on it - it sort of just happened. Buying the Hot Toys Batman Begins Toy Fair Exclusive figure was just the start, and soon I had to have the 89 figures as well.

Keaton Batman and Nicholson Joker are absolutely the two best figures in my entire collection (the rest of my Hot Toys figures can't even compare to their level of quality). Can't wait for Arkham City Batman either. And TDKR! This is shaping up to be quite an incredible year!

Except in the colour posters for AC in which it's blue.

I don't think that's an offical image. Looks fanmade. Joker isn't even colored the same as the others. Very odd IMO. 99% of the promo images were the white washed ones with just certain things in color.
