Come to think of it, Keaton Batman wasn't even shown at Comic Con last year -- just Nicholson Joker and the Batmobile...

This will be my ultimate Batman!!! Unless I'm lucky enough to snatch up the life sized one...I love the design for these games - it's practical and classic at the same time -- I'm kinda glad that the new 52 and Batman Inc designs are similar to the Arkham Asylum/City versions...beats regular tights...I wonder if they'll do a "cloth" outfit or polymer...I kinda hope it's a durable cloth material with all the seams sewn in with modular elements and mixed media materials like the rivets and such...

Can't wait - we've seen the gauntlets and shin guards and belt already...I wanna see the face!!!!

They really need to consider this game's look when they reboot the Batman movies after TDKR. I want a non-black armor Batman costume sometime

Reboot? There never needs to be another Batman movie again!


In all seriousness... I never even considered a Post Nolan Batman world until just now. I like the realistic world Nolan has placed his Batman in... and I honestly don't think anybody else can ever make me interested in another Joker. I'm really hoping they use new villains instead of Bane, Two Face, Scarecrow, and Joker. There are a ton of other Batman villains to reinvent... Mr. Freeze, Penguin, RIDDLER, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, POISON IVY, and the ventriloquist!!

Despite the film being crap, you can't deny that it wouldn't make an excellent figure. Figures are all about the visuals and Schumacher's films were certainly visual

Eh, there's a certain stigma attached to it, though, where you have to wonder if the reputation of the film would tarnish the designs (I.e. "Oh god, you have such a cool collection, but why do you own stuff from the crappy one?"). As far as Arkham City goes, what are the chances that we'll see Batman by Comic-Con?

That's nonsense to me, that would mean that Arkham Asylum batman design would be considered rubbish if the game wasn't good, but good if the game was good even though its the same suit. If Avengers flopped would that mean people wouldn't want Hulk?

Hard to argue that, as far as design the only one i'd have interest in would be Freeze the rest suck IMO

Sideshow pretty much spoke on HT's behalf saying it would be there. So who knows if that will hold true or not. I already expect Hulk (and the rest of the Avengers) to be there along with TDKR and Spider-man figures. Lots of comic figures for them this year!

As far as Batman & Robin goes, I believe it suffers from, what I like to call, "Jonah Hex Syndrome," in that the actor portraying the hero could've been excellent, had he been cast in a good movie.
