Yeah, false hope for me, too . This reveal would have been a breath of fresh air, between all of the Iron Mang announcements . I'm starting to think that HT has given up on their VGM line.

Stop. I actually asked Dave if the thread could be reopened because, since the reveal of Origins, there could be some valid discussion left regarding the future of these figures.

No one was expecting a Mr.Bingo Joker. There's still hope. I don't think they'd have made it a point to tease so much of the Joker figure if they weren't going to show them. It's only a matter of time, now. My concern, though, is that they would pull a Loki and ignore the City Batman in favor of an Origins one, which I'm really hoping wouldn't be the case.

No one was expecting a Mr.Bingo Joker. There's still hope. I don't think they'd have made it a point to tease so much of the Joker figure if they weren't going to show them. It's only a matter of time, now. My concern, though, is that they would pull a Loki and ignore the City Batman in favor of an Origins one, which I'm really hoping wouldn't be the case.

But, aren't Arkham City and Origins two separate licenses? I don't think it'll be easy for HT to just switch the figures on a whim like that.

They are, but it's possible that HT would try to get the Origins license, as well, since, you know, they like to make sure they've secured everything.

I've actually been hoping they produce an arkham city suit and then later an origins suit. Really liking what I've seen of the new (or technically old) suit so far but the arkham city suit is just pure awesome. And we know how much hot toys like batman. Here's hoping.

Well, even if they do get the license for Origins, I still don't believe that they'll prioritize it over Arkham City - since they already teased the accessories for the Batman figure.... over a year ago!
