It's very difficult to get a close up that represents what it actually looks like in person. That's true of any of my pictures, but it seems that close ups are particularly difficult to pull off faithfully.

I do think that this is a pretty good approximation of what it would look like if you shrunk Liv Tyler's head down to the size of my thumbnail. I think the likeness quality is comparable to others in the line so far, no doubt.

Hmmm. I just don't see her very much in mine at all. I do however see her in the Weta one.

I will add that I think this one should probably be at the same price point as Aragorn and Legolas, as she is the least detailed of the bunch. Gandalf and Gimli have much larger bases and Gimli in particular is highly detailed. Those two belong at the $250 price point, but in my opinion, Arwen belongs down at $225 with Aragorn and Legolas--even though both of those are more detailed and complex. If you can get the regular for a good price, you should consider it. Her exclusive is also the least essential in the line so far (in my opinion), so it shouldn't hurt too badly if you miss out on the necklace. (Although getting two heads with the EX gives you twice the chance of having a paint job that you're happy with!)

From disaster to redemption. Likenesses surprisingly really don't bother me that much because I am more into the characters rather than the movie versions of the characters. I mean, its funny that the likeness for Gimli doesn't seem to be a matter of discussion.

Looks great Tom and you got the # I always want to get with any LOTR item. She looks really great actually and I'm pleased that I will finally be adding Arwen to my The Lord of the Rings collection.

Tom- I added your Arwen to the collection thread.

Fremen- If you want you can let me know the # and I will add it.

Number nine. Number nine. Number nine. Number nine.

That is a nice, low number you got!

I was really happy because I had the Frodo PF #9 and I let it go when I switched to the maquette line. So it's nice to have a #9 again!

I can understand wanting that number in reference to LOTR. I know I had a #13 Morgul Lord and the Pippin statue I had was pretty low but wasn't #9.

I think if I had my choice, it would be great to get Ringwraith #9. That would be appropriate, as would any member of the Fellowship. But getting a single digit is pretty rare. I doubt it will ever happen to me again.

Yeah, I'd love to get either of those with #9 that would simply be freaking awesome. Right getting a single digit # is rare and I think its only happened to me once or twice.

I think this is only the second time in about ten years of collecting, and it's funny that I got the same number!

But it's funny that after the initial excitement of seeing a low number, I usually forget pretty quickly what it says underneath the base, since I'm never looking at it.

He Josh. The number on mine is 51.
My Gimli EX is 413

I will add ya shortly. Thank ya :duff

Yeah, sometimes it slips your mind. :lol Only reason I remember the Morgul Lord # is it was the lowest I had ever gotten at the time.
