Everyone who has one has nothing but praise for the speeder bike, I had to pick it up after hearing all the good stuff. It should be here by next week, I find myself not being able to get excited over this piece. Cool, as it will most definitely will be the only thing that has me wanting it is the possibility of having a partner statue for Grievous.

No bigger fan of Asajj than myself, but I just don't know if I can justify a $250+ purchase of this character. I can't imagine the PF being that different from the 12" (which came out great).

I'm surprised you would even hesitate buying the PF! I thought this is what you've been waiting for???

Jehovah Amir, did you strike gold while out a huntin'? You've been doing some amazing PF purchasing lately......I'm jealous :D

As for Asajj, I seriously doubt I'll order her but if she comes in at Indy PF pricing and therefore even cheaper at etailers I might pick her up.....I have a feeling the overall look will be fantastic.

I'm just catching up Mike :D:D, I recently converted to collecting PF's and the purchasing flood gates have been opened, but they will soon close…I just need to get 2 pieces more, and I will be content.

She was killed by Anakin in the clone wars cartoon (which was actually better than most of Ep.1 or 2).
You are incorrect sir, anakin beats the hell out of her, but she survives. She comes back in the comics, AND she is in the new Clonewars cartoon which takes plae AFTEr the first series. She eventualy gets fed up with ebeing used, and fakes her own death, heading out for "parts unknonw to the republic" Before ROTS
She has one long asss neck.

Still, a female Sith is always hot. Probably will look great if you have the room. She'll look great with Maul.

part of her character design IS a VERY long neck. it's one of her species traits.
All I know, is that if this does well...BRING ON DARTH REVAN AND DARTH NIHILUS
Please, God, YES.

Lastly, thank god I Don't do PF figures, this looks fantastic :)

Personaly, I'm LOVING the Love that the EU is getting from Sideshow. Bring on Quinlain Vos, Mara Jade, Thrawn, and Kir Kanos. Pwease?
I just wanna see more of the EU in 1/6.

Ah, Comics, the lowest tier of EU in the SW universe, IMO. You are right, though, she is in the new series so she must have survived the Animated CW.

While the concept of an Asajj PF is acceptable, due to the fact that she exists in the most legitimate area of the EU, I have no interest what-so-ever. The problem is that many more movie characters have not been represented in the 1/4 scale. I know they are trying to coincide with the new CW series, but other character choices would have appealed to a wider audience, like Dooku, who is also in CW.

Hey stranger :D

I'm sure I'll like it, but space is going to be a real concern with this one. I have room for one more PF in my cabinet and that's Anakin. After him, my SW PF's are going to start branching out and I'm not exactly sure where they're going to branch out to right now :monkey1

Depends on which comics. More or less all the newer comics ( pretty much anything written After ATOC hit theatres) is alot b etter than previos comics. Some of it's better than many of the recent novels, not that it's hard in some cases:monkey3

Mindless Crap On A Marketing Stick.

At least Asajj is a nicely-designed character (she's not a Sith, though, dammit. She's a wannabe!) :lecture

She also appears prominently in the Clone Wars cartoons and in the new cartoon/animated series that's coming out so I see her as a step up from pure EU... Mara Jade, Admiral Thrawn (although when I first read them oh so long ago I really enjoyed Zahn's books) are true EU and I think I'll leave those PF's for others.

quite right sir, don';t make mara and thrawn as PF figures!!!

Do them in 1/6 instead :)

She's a really neat looking character, and that's reason enough to have some cool collectibles made of her. I want a stormy and Dooku (etc...) as much as the next guy, but would definitley take Asajj here over some movie characters (Lando, Padme, etc..). Just my opinion of course :D

Mr Lucas has stated that the Clone Wars 'toons are canon, so technically she's not an EU character. Most would argue with that, but it is George's universe after all.

Expanded Universe means that's its not from the movies. It can still be official "canon." Asajj never made an appearance in Episodes I-VI so she's EU. :)

Also, even though the first 3 episodes of the new CW is showing in theaters this summer, isn't it still just a show and not a movie?

Ah - gotcha - that makes sense. I just figured since he actually acknowleges those stories (as opossed to comics/novels/games) that would make the CW characters more official somehow.

Either way, doesn't matter to me. Being EU or not doesn't influence my decision on buying stuff. It's all about how cool it looks, and if it will fit in my collection. Asajj definitly fits the bill since I mainly buy the bad guys/Sith PF's. :emperor

I could be wrong, but I think they scratched that idea and are going to release a full feature length CW story in the theaters.

Could be, but the pilots of some shows are "movie" length and they are actually just stitched together. Like Bender's Big Score and the BSG pilot where they can be viewed as a movie or as separate episodes.
