So what would be the difference? I guess it would be whatever defines a theater movie to you. To me, anything longer than your typical 1hr TV show that has above average production quality would qualify as a theater worthy feature.
Does the upcoming Clone Wars animated feature qualify? I guess that remains to be seen! :chew You make an interesting point though. After the CW has hit the theaters, does that take the characters out of the EU status, or do they need to be actual real-life actors to qualify?
And along with that question, how will the upcoming TV show fare in this area? All the EU vs Canaon stuff is really kind of silly if you ask me. A cool character is a cool character, regardless of where they came from. If it's good it's good, and if it's bad it's bad. There have been plenty of bad things done oncreen as well as in comics/books/games - most people wish Jar-Jar never existed after all.
