Being that this is sure to be "Strider" Aragorn, he should have the earthy tones for a ranger.
A suggestion, by the way: If the sleeves cause problems with the duster/coat sleeves bulking up, perhaps the shirt sleeves could be made detachable in some way (small strips of Velcro, maybe - or two versions of the shirt (sleeve/sleeveless). Kinda like the idea of different hands/fists... Just a thought.
