Agree. I think the likeness is spot on. Terrific looking set.

What’s funny is there are movie stills here that are showing what some of the complaints are. The beige color looks very close to some of the pics as does the tanned look.

But it’s the contrast of the brilliant white top half (that’s too white) against the beige lower half (that’s too dark) that increases the disparity.

Don’t tell me you aren’t able to see the complete break in colour cohesion on the figure.

I think it looks really good! However I'm definitely going to be putting the pure white garments into a quick tea bath to take the brightness out of it. The GTW costume is actually very grubby, especially by ROTK so I'll be adding some dirt and weathering to the whole outfit.

I can definitely see a few areas that need some tweaking. The skin tone needs lightened up, shape of the eyebrows corrected, mustache improved, and beard shortened up a bit. The beard line is also way too sharp and needs to have more of a gradation.

As for the beige fabric, there's no decoration on it so you could just replace it with a lighter fabric. Or maybe lighten it with some chalk pastel. I'd only ever have the cloak on anyway, so it's not likely to stand out much anyway.

I’m saying that depending on what image you look at the colors look much closer.

Sorry I stole your images. Look at these two pics. Same cloak isn’t it. Both look different though. Which is correct. I think the image on the right though lighter is very similar in color to the skirt on this release.

I know that some monitors can show colours differently, but I would never say that it's 'very similar'. It's gone from a cream colour to a definite beige colour. And in that image, it looks almost the same colour as the outer cloak, and I don't think we'd ever want that beige being used for the cloak right?

There is that 1 pic,where everything and the box is laid out that his headsculpt actually looks tanned,compared to close up shots of it.
It HAS to be lighting because it is such an extreme difference.

I think Shadowfax needs a trip to the barber he’s got a pretty intense lob. Nothing a little razor work shouldn’t be able to fix though.

As for the skirt, I’ve sourced some very similar material for Mando capes that I should be able to get in a cream color. Since I should have the figure soon I can verify how off it is and try to get the right color fabric ASAP. Should be an easy and cheap mod depending on how the skirt is held on.

Any shot you will sell any of them? I would be happy to buy one from you to even out the figure a bit.

With the next couple of months seeing Gollum and Boromir releasing, I have to tame my desire for this. I think it looks like an amazing release, and I’m keen to see in-hand pics from members here before getting too worried about skin-tones etc.
But really, the overall quality is pretty fantastic.
