I knew it was too good to be true...Asmus almost always seems to find a way to 'ef something up in the end.
Even the mustache looks worse in the new pic...

To me, beard looks better in the second pic. It just has to be narrower. In the first pic it looks too brushed.

It looks more like beard hair which is naturally thicker and curly than head hair however it needs to be styled properly as it is well groomed and straight in the movies, not just a wild bush like it is here. It could also do with being slightly darker as it is more grey than white in the movies.

Yes, it needs a more age appropriate paint job to highlight the dark lines and age spots etc.

Curious if the hair is fully applied down the sides of his head this time or if he just has that weird mohawk that the 1.0 version has. I know they want to keep the hair volume thin and straight, but that was an odd choice for the first version.

I hope they actually use a full head of hair from the top of the neck to the hairline like InArt. The Crown GTG had a terrible undercut at the back and the hair was so thin.

The beard in the first photo looks like the one from Lord of the Rings. The second photo looks like the horrible beard from The Hobbit. The Lord of the Rings beard is better than the one he had in The Hobbit. Maybe the second beard needs more styling?

The frizziness is accurate, but it needs to be tamed and shaped.

I hope Asmus will put the black stain down the front of the beard too (LOTR version)
