Is it the body's fault or the head?

I have this problem with most of Asmus's stuff. Look at their Slam Dunk figures. The heads always look really small compared to the massive necks. It throws everything off.

As for this figure, the clothes look like they came out great, but the head sculpt seems kind of strange. The hair is so solid it looks like ice cream with how it swoops. The second face all in all still came out great though. If he's still in stock in a few months I'll probably grab him.

I think this will be worth quite a bit later on as Asmus don't make a huge quantity of figures & just look at how much the 1st release of Ace goes for now...if you're lucky enough to find one!!

Yeah it is a shame that the first release sculpt looked so much better! I am super close to pulling the trigger... someone persuade me!

Wow, those head sculpts are terrible.
I know it's not Hot Toys... but easily not worth the asking price.

That was this same company. That Ace was $280 and came with 1 head. I had it. It was better than this one but now that goes for upwards of 1k on ebay.

Mine came today and its cool!

The body is poor though and I'm on the search for a replacement, maybe a Bruce Lee body?

Overall I'm very happy with the clothing and the new head sculpt is good.
