I’m working with this sculpt for something else at the moment, but this was so much work I’d never want to do this again unless someone paid me a million dollars lol.

Congrats! Big fan of the hair work, putting the hair behind the ears make a big difference IMO. What product is used to style the hair like that?

The sides of the beard was also shaved down and the cheeks resculpted.

Thanks guys! I always use Tibetan yak hair which you can purchase on eBay or etsy. I almost always usually end up dying it the right color for the character using whatever Loreal crap you get from CVS or whatever,

doing hair right takes skill and practice mostly,

I know I'm not that picky but I don't get some of the disdain for the Asmus sculpt from some of you. I know it's not a perfect likeness, none of their sculpts are, but damn.

AH! I posted that head in another group a few months ago and people laughed at me, saying it sucked! And now Raymond made a masterpiece with it! You rock!

The official Asmus store has him listed as shipping mid December and BBTS has him listed as arriving in December.

Anyone have experience ordering from Asmus? What’s the general timeframe for when things are shipped? And do they notify you with an email? Also, does the free shipping have tracking? Obviously, I’ve already got an order in the system. Just wondering.
