As it stands, for me, SS has a more appealing sculpt.

Guessing there is no sculpted hair option so this is a pass for me.

Likeness is off in the face and the routed hair doesn’t help in the pics, looks too thick and not framing the face correctly.

I’m sure with a little futzing you can get the hair looking pretty good so I don’t think it’s an issue… routed hair is just not for me. My OCD won’t let me mix and match in the collection so I’m sculpted hair only

Made a Photoshop edit:

- Made eye bigger
- Thickened eyebrow, extended the outer end, shifted peak of brow more over the eye
- Made tear duct much bigger
- Skin below the eyebrow arches upward instead of downward (so he doesn't look as sad)
- Added a bit of the upper eyelid, was not present before
- Thickened lips, lengthened mouth slightly
- Raised upper lip and nasal wrinkle into a sneer
- Exaggerated cheekbones a bit
- Lowered the jaw and chin
- Brightened the eye

Hope this helps. It's still not perfect, this is what I could do with the Liquify tool and the existing image. If anyone has any suggestions or wants to take it further, please feel free!
@Asmus I think this edit constructively shows really well how you could potentially improve the sculpt.
Stole the pictures from an earlier version,
is this a better likness?

This definitely looks like the better of the two sculpts.

This is good constructive criticism 👍🏼

The reworked sculpt looks 10x better but still off. Their early sculpt looks ok. Hopefully they rework that sculpt. The nose looks good but everything is off. I prefer sculpted hair personally, easier to get right.

It looks way better than that guy cosplaying as Snake above. The first version you posted literally looks nothing like Kurt Russell. Have you seen Kurt Russell in a film? I don't mean to sound like a dick.... but if you have eyes I don't understand how you'd think the first version would be acceptable to an Escape From New York fan. Only thing correct in first version was his nose.

Ditto on the sculpted hair. Snake's got very specific curls in his hair, easier to get them just right (and keep them that way) if they're sculpted.
They can charge more for rooted though. As hit or miss as it often is... I think that's one of the sole motivations.

Likeness is slightly generic, and needs some work. It's lacking that surly attitude that Snake sorely needs.

With that said, I like it, but it could use a little refinement in terms of the likeness to Russell circa 1980-1. Keep it up @Asmus looking forward to seeing more.
