It looks way better than that guy cosplaying as Snake above. The first version you posted literally looks nothing like Kurt Russell. Have you seen Kurt Russell in a film? I don't mean to sound like a ****.... but if you have eyes I don't understand how you'd think the first version would be acceptable to an Escape From New York fan. Only thing correct in first version was his nose.

I think this looks closer to Chris Pratt than Kurt Russel.

Sorry Asmus, even the earlier sculpt version is not good. Also consider adding a movable eye.

The hair strands looks too thick for some reason.
My recommendation, go back to resculpting from the beginning if you want to sell this. This is a very niche character and only real fans of the movie will buy it and only if it looks accurate. The Sideshow is way better than this in the headsculpt. I would buy the Sideshow one before this right now anytime

I was very excited for this announcement, but unfortunately would likely pass unless the sculpt is updated. Everything else aside from the likeness looks very promising, though!

I think these suggestions are a really good start:

- Made eye bigger
- Thickened eyebrow, extended the outer end, shifted peak of brow more over the eye
- Made tear duct much bigger
- Skin below the eyebrow arches upward instead of downward (so he doesn't look as sad)
- Added a bit of the upper eyelid, was not present before
- Thickened lips, lengthened mouth slightly
- Raised upper lip and nasal wrinkle into a sneer
- Exaggerated cheekbones a bit
- Lowered the jaw and chin
- Brightened the eye

Hope this helps. It's still not perfect, this is what I could do with the Liquify tool and the existing image. If anyone has any suggestions or wants to take it further, please feel free!

The issues sort of remind me of those with the earlier proto for Mondo’s Mac:

I think going for a hard squint/scowl and the face tapering to a weak jaw really hurt it.

The eye is mostly throwing it off. This is Snake if he was Asian and was maybe trying to escape from Shanghai.

I really appreciate that Asmus puts up with us and attempts to appease us. The sculpt needs work, and it's great that they listen and want to hold off on PO's until it's updated.

Need another Snake, after selling the Sideshow a few years back. Please ditch the rooted hair and improve the likeness Asmus. That is all.

This is weak. The Sideshow one looks like Kurt, just the paint sucks. This only kinda, sorta ressembles him if you can convince yourself

Personal opinion here of course, but even though they are fielding all opinions…I don’t see the hair or moving eyes as really viable constructive comments YET, we really should be fielding the main issue directly and synergistically (first time I’ve ever used that word). Let’s keep the narrative clear and get them on the right path for the likeness to Kurt. Which we all know hasn’t been nailed 100% yet, the final Mondo sculpt wasn’t terrible. This however, is bad. Let’s avoid a bad headsculpt first. Then complain about features eyes/hair
