Awesome!! I'm still trying to source the correct colour pants, and the right materials for a new cape. Is that the stock SS Evil Ash? I ordered one and am waiting for it to arrive. Did you change the body, and if so, how did you remove the head?

Thanks, the evil ash was a sideshow base but it’s been completely overhauled, basically heated the head off, repainted it, re rooted the hair, added real rope for the jaw, Dremeled away a KO body then padded it out in places to get the right build, still not 100% finished maybe like 60% but currently in the process of a move so I’ll have to carry on with him when I’m less busy

Could you please tell me a bit more about removing the head with heat? I've been studying the SS Ash body & head while I wait for Evil Ash to arrive, and I can't fathom how to remove it, without cracking open the torso. How does it come off with heat? The head seems made to stay on the body permanently. Also, once removed, did it fit correctly onto the neck peg for the KO body? Great job on the repainting & rehairing btw!

Anyone have a Linda head they want to sell or know where I can buy one? I managed to get the collectors edition base for my kitbash Ash, it came with Henrietta and the vice but no Linda. If anyone has lead, I'd greatly appreciate it (it would really bring the room together). Anyone think Asmus would sell me one individually?

Sure thing! I'm pretty happy with how it came out over all. I managed to bring 3 different generations of 1/6 scale Ash figures into one. The shotgun, chainsaw and watch are from the 2002 Sideshow Ash, the shirt and boots are from the 2015 Sideshow Ash, the Harness and hand are from the Asmus release. I bought the headsculpt off ebay and I'm pretty impressed with the quality considering it was only 20 bucks. The body is the Jiaoudoll seamless tan body, I rubbed literal ash all over Ash to dirty him up and added extra bloody paint to the shirt and pants. The pants I dyed brown after bleeching and ripped up myself. I'm also pretty proud of how the Henrietta head came out because I painted it entirely by hand. It was a recast that I purchased off Aliexpress.

The holster has a couple holes/cuts in the back moving slightly to the front and the leather shoulder strap with the eyelet threads through it and the top rope piece ties around the webbing on the other side of the back, I deleted all my webbing pics so I went back through the thread to find some screenshots so some of the harnesses are different but hopefully this makes sense

Just got my loose Ash parts from Toy Anxiety and I really like this Asmus sculpt over the Side Show Ash. Head definitely makes for a great Medieval Ash custom, thanks for the idea guys!

I think that's the collector's edition (no base) but nice deal!

Well....when you take into account it's at a discount and damaged and I'm still paying retail I might as well get one without the damaged box.

True I guess, but the ~$30 discount is still there considering the starting point of 168 vs 200. I think the the standard figure for $200 is a good price for what you get.

The discount is good, but living in CA. the fun of the discount is negated when shipping is more than the discount and taxes are just as bad. I know the box doesn't affect the figure, but knowing that it's damaged and then seeing what you still paid for it, with the discount, sours it just a tad more. Ah, the dilemmas of a first world country. I can't get the discount I want for a $200+ dolly.

Back in January they got the faulty luxury editions, and sent an invoice. So i messaged them saying "I don't wanna pay for a bald Henrietta, can you open it up and check it first?" and they replied "We will check before we post it, after you pay". So i paid, and then i got a message saying "Asmus are sending replacement versions in a few weeks". Then i sent a message every month asking "any update yet?" and it's always "we expect them next month"... So i paid the full price 5 month ago now and i am still waiting.
