They all opened. you might have had a defect with yours if you got it from Asmus I'd contact them and ask for a replacement I had Gandalf but sold him recently (might buy him again and keep him this time) but when I had him the book definitely opened and had full pages with all the writing.

Mine opens some what you can see the pages are detailed but didn't open fully might if I used a hair dryer to warm it a bit.

I'm pretty certain other people in the Gandalf thread reported theirs didn't open as well. The plastic was soft enough that you could bend back the front and back covers slightly to see the pages, but was still hard enough that you couldn't open it like a real book.

It was particularly disappointing because the promo pictures showed the book fully opened. If you used heat to open it up, cool, but I wouldn't count on a Necromicon being 'openable' because Gandfalf's book was as well ... because it wasn't.

This might be a bit different because the necronomican isn't super big like the one Gandalf came with. So it should be easy enough to have a book that opens with the few pages that have all the kandarian incantations.

I don't get this i was meant to be exclusive to asmus and sideshow and limited to 666 but every store has the deluxe up. if I'd know this I would of held off lmao!

Asmus, any chance of seeing an AXE included with the Luxury version of Ash? After all, he takes down Ed with one, plus it’s the only weapon he uses that you haven’t included.

As I know this Ash of ED2 is the only one in recent design list. So we will try to catch more from licensor but it's not in this year. Thank you.

Anyone else find emailing Asmus a waste of time? I never got a reply back. Nearly two weeks ago I sent them an e mail. I did get a few replies from their social media but it went nowhere. They need to improve their site and communication.

Yeah, I'm very grateful that inyacher is here to assist, because I was unable to get any response/feedback through their online message center, and e-mails never went through.

You’ll get a better response from them here.

They do need to work on their customer service via email though, it’s not good.
Whoever the person on here from the company is can be very helpful though.
