If it IS Sauron, I only have two things on my wish list. First, that the triangle of chain mail over his ... eh ... bikini area ... be real chain mail. And second, that they include the sword that Weta designed and made but that ultimately did not appear in the finished film. (It was used in the sequence where he fights Aragorn at the Black Gate but Sauron was ultimately replaced by a battle troll in that scene. It's a cool sword, though.)

I'm hoping it is Isildur or a prologue Elven warrior. Both would look great on display with our Elrond.

With the word "big" in there,I assume it will be Sauron.

Elendil would be another good choice as you could pair him with current Elrond.

Don't think he's featured that way at all but would luv Oropher...and Thranduil was also involved in the War of the Last Alliance.

Any ideas in terms of figure height, if it is Sauron at 1/6 scale? Is there a 1/6th Weta version to judge from?

Holy shiiiiiii... okay. I?m guessing Gandalf is 1/6 in that photo too?! [emoji23] I?m going to need to find a place for him to live haha.

Yeah, I think if a figure is exactly to the movie's scale (10 feet), he'd be around 20 inches tall to the tips of his helm spikes. Give or take. I think they could get away with using a modified 1/4 scale figure body which would clock in at 18 inches (not including spikes). I think the old Sideshow figure might be a little too tall (those legs are really long), but he's pretty much in the ballpark.

By the powers of Arda, if it is a Prologue Elven Warrior, I will buy two to display beside Elrond. One will have the great elven warrior sword or Lhang in elvish and the other probably the spear/glaive that came with Elrond plus a shield.

Received a reply this morning regarding some replacement accessories. But also asked the question on when the releases are likely expected for my preorders.
Galadriel is arriving in January, which is exciting! The first 500 Crown Gandalf the Grey are due in the 1st quarter of the year. I have my preorder through BigBadToyStore, so I?m expecting to not get one of those right away. Has anyone else experienced a wait when they couldn?t preorder via Asmus?
Sorry, I did not enquire about Helms Deep Aragorn, as I haven?t purchased him yet.
