Same here. I was a day 1 Pre-Order and I paid my invoice around 9-10pm, about an hour or so after I received the email. I did the same with the slim Frodo and I got my shipping notice fairly soon after.

Yes, I'm quite sure it is random. I know in the past, I have ordered later than some based on posts and gotten mine first. This time I ordered very early and haven't received my shipping notice yet.
