Never understood this behaviour to pay double on ebay instead of paying retail in Asmus' store...

They’re overpriced that high under the assumption that buyer will haggle. And they’re just waiting for the figure to sell out I guess. It does seem ridiculous when the figure is still available at retail. Isn’t this particular figure already sold out though?

It was sold out for a long time, then I think last week Asmus restocked.

Currently still available.

I got the invoice and paid right away on Feb. 4th. No email as yet as to shipping status, though.

Actually the fabric is different, in fact, the entire outfit is a re-made. In fact, all the accessories are new, newly sculpted and newly molded.

Only the sword is a re-use, however we did print the elven writing which was so carelessly missed out last time,
but it is so tiny, properly need a magnify glass to see them.

Same boat as you sir. Paid promptly. Keep checking my email for a shipping notification. I'll be posting pics as soon as I get him on my Instagram account. I'll share them here too. As well as doing a Showcase video for my youtube channel.

That's great to hear! I was under the impression this was all reuse from from the v1. Now I'm ever more eager to get this in hand to check it out!

I was having a think about future asmus crown releases and what accessories/stands they would come with.

Gandalf the white - sword, staff, pipe, palatire in a bag, grey cloak for Rohan look, and the stand minas tirith steps to sit on or wall for him to pose with.

Saruman the white- staff, books, black throne.

Ian holm bilbo - rooted hair, with alternate older head, desk and books and maps maybe a window scene ?

As far as customer service goes, I think you guys are the best in the business and if this is the level of quality we?ll be getting from the Crown line, I?ll be in for pretty much everything you make, ie the entire Fellowship hint hint...

This is the kind of detail I like.

Anduril, for example, without the elven engraving, is not Anduril: it's Narsil.

I got an order number, maybe check spam folder, if not there I know one person emailed them to get their number as they didnt get one either.

Yeah same happened to me and a few others here. You have an order number in the PayPal receipt so you should be fine, but I contacted their CS just in case, after which they sent me the confirmation email.

I dont think the hat is to small, it's just because it cannot be pulled down enough due to the fabric where the hole should be

Yikes. Yeah, that's coming out when I get mine for sure. Even with the rooted hair I prefer my wizard with his wizard hat on. Going by some pictures that I've seen looks like might use a little soft pastel to darken the beard in some areas. No problem because if I'm honest I usually tinker with all the figures I buy. I passed on all the Gandalfs throughout the years and I'm glad I'm in a place now to grab this one. [emoji869]
