I attempted to order it yesterday but I entered in my info wrong... but ever since I have been reluctant to pull the trigger on this one... He's not in the books. His part isn't particularly iconic. I don't find his role particularly interesting.

Actually a Gothmog IS mentioned as leading the Mordor army in the book... he's the lieutenant of Morgul. There's just been alot of debate on WHAT he is. An orc? a Nazgul? Tolkien never said, so PJ decided to embellish the character.

I decided to go with BBTS this time because AE charges me sales tax. I think I ended up paying almost $20 more for their other figure through AE.

I went ahead and pre-ordered from BBTS...tired of waiting for Alter Ego to update their site with the new items. Perhaps they will not carry this one...they have updated very recently with new pre-orders...and the Gothmog seems to be left out.

tell me about it...just had to buy new tires and breaks recently and going on vacation in 2 weeks...balancing collecting and real life expenses is always a pain
