I like the one with teeth clenched but showing the most teeth or the open/angry one. Its cool that they have so many though but I doubt I will use the closed one or the "to the side sneer" one. I wonder how hard they are to swap.

Is this shipping soon? I feel like I've been waiting for ages for this beast. (I think I'm getting more impatient in my "old age" haha)
I'm loving the look of those mouth sculpts. However, the closed mouth looks like the chin is really crooked and pushed to the right side. Is it supposed to be like that or is it yet another droopy face problem? At the end of the day it's not a big deal as MOS is more of a monster/creature than a man and he naturally looks messed up. It would just concern me if they are still having problems...

This is available now directly from Asmus. It's usually takes a while before these are available to ship in North America and other regions.
Man, I love this character design. Like the words he speaks are so powerful and evil they've split the flesh from his lips.
Wonder if I can order this from Asmus direct now and get it sooner than my current preorder holding at BBTS?
The last couple times it took months between Asmus shipping out and BBTS getting their orders in.

I think it's worth a shot. Also you get the free shipping. There is fairly lengthy gap between the time Asmus has them available and when their retailers have them. I think if you emailed Asmus they would tell you they can get it shipped quickly.
I received Saruman months ahead of U.S. retailers when I ordered from Asmus directly. It´s the only way to go for getting your figures sooner. I always order direct from the manufacturer for all my figures if possible, I find it to be better all around.

This is my favorite LOTR character and the one that sucked me into collecting other 1/6 LOTR figures. Note these are out of the box pictures, and with a little futzing this can be a real centerpiece to your collection. Please excuse the flash where I used it.
So, what is in the box? First, you get a nice little free flip calendar.
The packaging is pretty straight forward, there is very little to actually assemble.
I do not own the Nazgûl horse, so I am not sure if this is the same one. But, the front legs do seem close together and they are articulated. Still, the horse appears stable.
The stirrups are made of metal.
