Mine arrived.
So many things I like and a few things that piss me off.
For one the horse legs are exactly the same as the ringwraith horse. So frustrating that it doesn't stand properly.
Also the magnet detached from the inside of the head sculpt the first time I slid out the face plate. Also the saddle peeled off the leather when I lifted it up to put the on the stirrups like the instruction tell you to do. But the glue under the saddle didn't hold...
I'd say mine just has dodgy glue...hopefully others are better.
The magnet and saddle should be an easy fix, it's just frustrating when things fall apart straight out of the box.

Those annoying things aside I think this figure is freaking epic and in so glad I bought it! It looks boss all put together.

PROS:
The face sculpts are amazing
Helmet sculpt is awesome
Tailoring of clothing is great
Horse armour looks awesome

CONS:
Horses legs are absolute crap
Won't feel comfortable leaving him to stand on his own
Glue doesn't hold

Horses "clothing" is average, not really a con just not great. No different to the tattered clothing of the ringwraith cut to points. Will probably look better after water treatment.

This is after one afternoon with him. I'll see how I feel after a week.

I just opened mine up and it's looking like another solid effort from Asmus. My question is I don't have the Orc feet for build an Orc as described in included features on Asmus web page, has anyone else got them?

Mine was actually missing a couple of things. The orc feet as well.

I didn't know about the Orc feet...not in mine either. I do not see a place where they would even go in the packaging.

Cripes. Not looking forward going through customer service to get my Orc feet. Hopefully mine show up included and the Post of Office doesn't screw up the forwarding address. Moving has been a mess especially since we are technically homeless until we close on our new house at the end of the month. Luckily we have parents and in-laws willing to shuffle us around but it has been a mess with mail.

Just went back to re-read the preorder. It says there's supposed to be Orc feet AND a dynamic stand like the Nazgul steed. What happened to that?

Really nice figure imo and will benefit greatly by those braver than me who choose to dirty him up. I had a blade on top of the steeds neck pop off but was an easy glue and some loose straps to tighten but the steeds legs feel tighter than the nazgul steed and the joints are well hidden with all the material.
I'm really enjoying Asmus figures without all the earlier issues and hope the Orc feet mystery is solved soon.

Beautiful! :clap

Nazgul and Mouth will be great bookends for the entire LOTR collection.

I emailed asmus about a missing necklace and the orc feet. The feet were not supposed to come with this set, it was a misprint on the item description. They asked me for a serial number but I can't find one. Are any of yours numbered or have a serial number?

I kind of figured as much. I couldn't see them putting parts to the build an orc with a 300 dollar set.

Yeah, makes sense. I don't think Nazgul set had an Orc piece either -- it had a bonus blade that was missing.

Strange though that there's no certificate. I thought that was their new thing.

Anyone know what happened to the dynamic stand that was originally advertised? Did they scratch that off the list as well?

I got the same email but there was no mention of the stand just that the feet were an error. I just presumed the steed was the stand.

I went back through this whole feed and they stated it would have a stand similar to the Nazgul and steed with the bendable metal. Not a big deal as that stand sucked, I was just hoping this one would have been upgraded so I could use it for the Nazgul steed that can't stand on its own...
