I think Asmus posted that one of their guys was on the Weta team who created the props for these movies and they are working closely with them on this project. You can probably find the post in the other thread. Looking forward to this, and more!

Itll be interesting to see the difference between Asmus and ACI Toys version of the same characters. I would think ACI Toys will probably be better quality, if they are anything like their Roman General.

Ive only gotten one Asmus and that was the Ghost Face, which for what it is it works. But theres not much too him.

Yeh, up front payment with paypal is the only option. I'm not going that route myself if other similarly priced options pop up.

Didn't ACI pull the LOTR announcement from their site due to "legal reasons"? Did they get approval to move forward?
