I take it it's worth it (PS3) for 19.99$?
I always wanteds to cause of the good reviews but i never did.

Do you think i could pick up the 2nd one with no knowledge of the first and be ok? Or would it better to have played the first?

You would probably be able to play the second one without having played the first. The second one will more than likely have references to the first though and it still follows the character Desmond from the first one. He's the present day character in the game, the one who relives the memory of his ancestors, Altair in the first one and Ezio in the second.

I highly recommend playing the first game though, it's a great experience in my personal opinion. I know some people say it's repetitive and yes some of the tasks you do are repeated but it's still an awesome game and really underrated. At least to me anyway.

I don't know if there was a lot of hype for the first one. I think the huge sales numbers for that game surprised everyone. AC2 will sell big numbers too.

AC2 really looks to build on what made the first one great, and fix the issues that the first one had with it, which really gets me excited.

I enjoyed the first one and this one seems to improve the formula a little, although a lot of the tedious chain of event gameplay still seems to be in. With COD:MW2 and L4D2 coming out this month I think I'll hold off on this one until a price drop.

I think AC II would be a solid 8.5 - 9.0.

I doubt it's going to be ground breaking, but I think it's going to be a really solid & all-around fun game.

There was a lot of buzz/hype for the first one. I remember seeing previews and sneaks of it 2 years before its release. Before it was announced on the 360 it was supposed to be huge PS3 exclusive.

~~I think AC2 will be awesome. I believe the developers learned from the mistakes made in the first one and added a lot more sandbox play in the cities.
