Yeah I am loving this game. Although I am finding it hard to follow the story. LOL! I get sidetracked doing side missions and then when I get back to the main story I'm like WTF is going on here. :lol

:lol same here. I have no idea what's going on with the story. All I know is I need to kill people.
It's still a great game though.

Having a lot of fun playing this. Just finally made it to Venice. :) Big improvement over the first game (which I actually liked a lot).

I bought this today and I'm trying to get into it, but I'm having a hard time. It's taking what seems like forever just to get to a point where you're actually doing something.

I beat the game last friday, so amazing, the ending was a giant

WTF followed by.... I WANT THE NEXT ONE

so awesome, the third is going to kick so much a$$

Finally done with this game. Got almost everything too. All feathers, treasure chests, glyphs, all weapons, armors, fully upgraded villa, etc etc.

LOVE this, man they did a great job, you can do anything. WAYYYY more revolutionary than gta4! Cant wait to finish the story, then, i'm getting everything, the bonuses etc

^^^ I know. This is more like what the first game promised us. I have no idea how far I am into the core storyline, but its just as fun running amuck throughout the cities.

The ending was a bit of a surprise, but it's cool and very metaphysical.

I think....

The third game will take completely in the present or in the future. For the first time ever, I actually want to continue playing as Desmond. If he becomes an assassin on the level of Altair or Ezio, he'll be so badass.

The wait for the next game is going to be sooo long...:(

So So true, i thought the end was so kick a$$

The ending was great, but actually, the more I think about it, Subject 16's "The Truth" video is actually more revealing and interesting.

The story is really epic in scale and I loved the twists on religious facts and real-world figures. I think I got most of the story points right, but can someone confirm my theories?

Okay, it is revealed to Ezio/Desmond (by Minerva) that the god/gods that human beings worship weren't really gods at all, but extraordinarily powerful ancient beings. They created the progenitors of human beings (in their image), all embedded with a mind control device inside their brains. Adam and Eve are created, and they are the first Assassins (though they don't know it yet). Adam and Eve rebel against their masters, steal the Apple (A piece of Eden) and escape from the "garden" of Eden. This begins a war between the god-like Ancients and the beings that came before us human beings. Some sort of cataclysm happens, and these god-like ancients are destroyed (the ending suggests that this will happen again in the future).

The Pieces of Eden (the apple, the staff and other artifacts) possess unique powers. Wars are fought over these items by the Greeks, Romans, etc. Fast forward through time a bit, and Cain kills Abel for possession of a Piece of Eden. Cain becomes the first Templar. Fast forward again through time and famous figures and events of our history are shaped by these artifacts from Eden. Jesus Christ, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, Houdini, George Washington, Queen Elizabeth I, Genghis Khan, Napoleon, Hitler, Teddy Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Gandhi, etc etc.

All of these figures in history are connected somehow with the Pieces of Eden. I'm not sure which were Templars and which were Assassin's, but it's suggested that wars are fought over these artifacts, and lives were taken.

Altair, Ezio, Subject 16, and Desmond are direct descendants of Adam and Eve. I thought about it, and it would explain how Eagle Vision works and how Assassin's have such incredible agility. In the Subject 16 video you see Adam and Eve perform awesome leaps and jumps that are very similar to what Assassin's are capable of.

The story is really good. A lot of conspiracy stuff. Reminds me of a more sci-fi Da Vinci Code.

Went back to the game for about an hour to complete everything I didn't do when I finished the single player campaign.

Funny (and frustrating) thing is, I've done EVERYTHING that I could, and I'm still at 99.2% synchronization/completion.

I've been reading around and apparently 100% completion is not possible unless you own both the Gamestop Exclusive Master Assassin Edition AND the Black Edition from Best Buy. Each edition comes with exclusive download codes for bonus Assassin tombs and/or missions. ARGH!

I'm not usually a die hard completion fanatic, but I loved this game so much that I went the extra mile. I even have the Platinum Trophy for this game.

Guess I gotta hope Ubisoft releases the levels as DLC.

never played the first one but i think i may have to pick this one up.

Would you guys get AC2 or Uncharted 2 first? I dont have the time to play both so it has to be one at a time.
