I just got a lightly used R2 on ebay for $4 less than what Amazon was charging (thanks to the Live.com cashback ). Makes me feel slightly better, but it apparently doesn't have the instruction book. Can you get all you need to know online?

Well, it's one of those good/bad days. My Astromech R2 arrived - took 2 days to get here ... only problem is that it doesn't work. I put the batteries in, he came on for a few seconds then nothing. Sigh. Oh well, Amazon is shipping a replacement. Wonder how long this will will take to arrive LOL.

From the looks of it, I can see charging 50 to 100 bucks. However, the original price was 169.99? That was a rip-off and a half.
